Sure, as long as I don't mistake it for a saveloy and bite down real hard on it

I see it now

P.S.
Augmented reality glasses for another good purpose - https://keck.usc.edu/augmented-reali...r-environment/
(the paper published in the peer reviewed journal Scientific Reports, co-authors from Stanford and USC).
To give awareness equity to both ^ institutions I’m providing a hyperlink to Stanford too, the 2012 presentation regarding HDR, being exclusive to that teaching institution and cutting edge at the time -
Stanford
(I hope people don’t mind that I called out Joe back then)

anyway, that talk at Stanford was quite unique in that only a couple months earlier the study’s data had been submitted as part of an input document to the ITU in the quest for new television systems and which changed working party members’ minds – https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...t#post12602993

And, as they say, the rest is HDR history

flashing forward to modern day, to give attribution where attribution is due, Scott D., one of the co-presenters of the Stanford talk, is credited as one of the original investigators into the development of Dolby Vision IQ along with lead Robert and Robin

You can't open the can and not spill the beans. What's gotten out of hand? Don't be coy, Roy. Geoff will let you play with his pole and if scottsguy ever catches a haggis... well... that might be a topic for another forum. Aright, spill those beans.

Well, let’s just say that when I have to try to call freakin Sweden on my worthless cell phone plan on a Friday morning you know it’s unusually important in terms of critical mass; otherwise, specifics are confidential.

Hey, I just visited your NFL woods a few moments ago to check-in on rickah and you other rascals. In my neck of the woods I’m having a watch party for the Poe birds….beverages include local brews Barrio Lager and Stone Brewery IPA.
For the non-alcoholic minded we’re having Diet Pepsi, which should be self-intuitive –

D’oh! I have haggis on my face. I completely misread your original post. I thought you were talking to iceman about something on here that’s gotten out of hand. Lol. I would never ask for personal data. Sorry ‘bout that.

Should be a great weekend of football. Not sure what we’ll be doing but I’m sure it will involve some debauchery. Pretty sure there won’t be any Diet Pepsi tho.

I’m ready for some football! Go Ravens !
Also picked up some local North Island IPA beer for the game to add to our choices of beverages.

Postscript: footage of that ^ France v. Switzerland match was indeed presented later at a trade show being displayed on an LG E7 tv capable of displaying a 100p HFR image. Not sure, but video of that project may still be available from the technical teams at France Televisions and Orange Labs

Geez, you had to remind me Top Gun was actually a frikkin' Pepsi commercial!

When Maverick and Goose are waiting outside Viper's office and the commanding officer was yelling, there's a guy carrying a tray of drinks that the commander crashes into. The guy actually holds and turns the tray so you can see the bloody Pepsi logo on it as he falls.

well it worked, “The biggest sell-through success that year was….”perfect synergy” (like pizza and beer - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...e#post16262438 )….. –

and not nearly as shameless as, for example, this –

Well Waboman it was a frustrating, painful Saturday for us, good we had enough beer. At least I hear there will be a F/A 18 flyover at the K.C. Chiefs vs. Houston Texans playoff game today.

Vincent gives us his favourite TVs from CES 2020 in HDR. Anyone want to test his HDR? Geoff?

Perhaps but a 48" 4K OLED is badly needed. I haven't heard pricing, hope it's lower because it would be a much better fit with existing furnished or cramped living space environments. It would also disrupt the continued junk status of 48" to 50" LCD/LED displays compared to 55" and larger models in regards to HDR performance.

Yeah, we both had a good old fashioned arse whoopin’. As long as the Seahawks beat the Cheesers all will be right. Looks like another beat down in KC.
