I own Microsoft Flight Simulator, so i'll have the opportunity to try this Top Gun: Maverick expansion, which releases the same day as the film. The F/A-18 in the trailer looks superb.

It's not just James Francis Cameron (Canadian), but the full enchilada.
* 'James' Penton , not 'Jim'.

Like me still having to this day, my friend Al’s old home telephone number (415) -530 - 36xx (which I doubt is posted on the internet), you have to be *in the know*.

For short, ‘Jim’ is o.k. -
start no later than the 00:16:30 timestamp here - https://www.getblockbuster.com/post/...th-al-giddings where The Abyss and more is revealed.

Yeah, he called him Jim, twice. We can all call him Jim...it is permitted.

* Is there going to be an Abyss Two? ...About the first one in 4K HDR?

Much more than twice, listen to the whole interview. Even his former classmates at Fullerton College call him Jim.

I'm not in the loop as to if/when on that.

After twice 'Jim' was good enough to me; saved me some precious time.

Me neither; just the original 'Abyss' in HDR 4K would do just fine.
Can you imagine; it would be like . . . going to the movies all over again with a second dose for full immunity.

I think you’re going to scare Geoff away permanently with all these ^ posts related intensely to HDR on the last several pages. B.T.W., what do Vincent Teoh’s friends call him for short as I don’t know the fella. Vince, Vincent, Vinny, Big Boy (to go with his video innuendos) ?

Sounds good. I’ve got to post a pic someone sent me a time back of starting his kid out real early with flying jets. Have to find it on the desktop at home.

I can go back to Chuck Norris or Bruce Lee if Geoff prefers, or Tom.

- No idea how his best friends call him...Vincent

Good article about him as a ‘blue-collar guy’ and his years long passion for scuba diving with Jacques Cousteau being his hero.

Having 8k yet inexplicably without a true 12bit panel is completely the wrong direction of travel. No-one needs 8k in the home, unless people are going to buy us all bigger houses to make the viewing distances work, and pay for the panels. All IMHO, of course.

Let's finish 4k first, with proper 12bit panels, wider gamuts etc, BEFORE moving on to 8k.
