And yet again, the lie that HDR10(+) only supports up to 4,000 nits and not 10,000 is repeated in that article. Sigh.

Likely, ^ the most comprehensive you’ll see publicly published anywhere to date and does not make the error alluded to by mrtickleuk. Start in Chapter 20 on p.584 before proceeding further down to the tutorial.

Just wanted to give Blu-ray.com members and visitors an update on few new items:

First, with the constrained supply of the new high demand TVs a few key retailers have raised their prices. Thankfully Sony, and LG are very kind to us so we have a good supply.

Second, I am optimistic for Hisense's new 75" U9DG Dual Cell 4K HDR TV and Hisense has agreed to include our company in the first USA allocation that is due in by the end of next week.

Third, I was just appointed to the video standards committee for the CTA/CEDIA. This is a very serious position and honor for me to be appointed too.

Finally, Sony put me on their "Counsel" to be an advisor.

Dayum! You’ve had one heckuva morning, sir. A huge congrats and tip o’ my hat. Pick up Wendy, take her to Peter Lugers and call it a day.

On the bright side, the shortages shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as the ones in the GPU market. Not only were there supply constraints, but the demand was, and still is, through the roof. It took me 10 months to get a Nvidia 30 series GPU.

I don’t know Wabs, they tell me you Minnesotans are into far kinkier stuff given how much time you spend indoors in pursuit of entertainment due to the inclement weather up there so much of the year.
