As a result, although nothing will ever replace the suffering incurred by those who knew and loved her, especially her family, I hope something positive comes out of the incident and her tragic death will not have been completely in vain. Seems the authorities are keeping tight lipped with regards to the details of the investigation. I know that blanks can/and have killed too, but AFAIK, not from several feet away which is where, apparently, Halyna and the Director were located.

Disclosure of conflict of interest - As a longtime advocate of Dolby Vision and appreciative of the company's pioneering efforts – https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...d#post12602993 into the R&D of HDR when nobody else was, I am comfortable in mentioning that an advantage of Dolby Vision is that it has trim pass controls in the metadata whereas an advantage of HDR10+ is more detailed statistical metadata for each scene.

How many Dolby and LG videos state conflict of interest?
He is mostly comparing 10 and 10+ anyway, the idea that anyone mentions 10+ is naturally anti Dolby is a this site problem

Mike, in the case of videos involving working professionals in the industry, any conflict of interest is easily intuitive to the reader/listener as those videos clearly are produced by the respective companies (Dolby, LG, whomever) and in cases where they are not and there is a third-party host, the employee bio is clearly made evident to the public, e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLBPUN_S-ms#t=1m18s

With another third-party hosting example being - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qgKFYEXAIw#t=57m13s , a disclosure practice, even in this case the presenter apologizing for naming names so as not to be self-promoting of DoVi, that Florian should be familiar with.

Florian is the CEO of FF Pictures or whatever it’s called in Germany. A casual reader/listener may be unaware of any past or ongoing collaboration between Samsung and Florian, (who gives the impression of being an independent analyzer in LDJ’s YouTube video which you linked).

Hi there, not sure to understand every word you say but to make things clear...
I am at the origin of this video, Florian's part was my idea, i wanted a true comparison in HDR with HDR master monitor. The idea was not to oppose dolby versus HDR10plus, just to show the differences between technology. I work with dolby since the beggining of my youtube channel and now had the opportunity to work with samsung. samsung helped me but never asked anything I had total control of what is said in this video. I'am an HDR10plus adopter as the technology is very simple, efficient and coast nothing. I love Dolby but it is much more complex and expansive and quite hard to do it on your own. At the end the results are pretty much the same. Everybody speaks about dolby and always oppose to HDR10plus without understanding how it works. So I wanted to make things clear. Yes you can see it as a commercial for samsung, but my previous work on could also been considered as a commercial for Dolby... And regarding Florian, beleive me this guy is not the kind of guy you can ask to tell what he does not want to... He is independant, works for both and has knowledge level i dream to have. Nobody got paid. I asked him to help me like he helped me last year. I'm really happy of the result, I hope it will help people to understand better HDR and i really wanted people to understand that
OLED TV may be the best for Blacks but have big flaws
Dolby or HDR10PLUS are crucial on less capable TV but not on HIGH END LCD
And Dolby and HDR10plus comes from same signal
