Kanada is not allowed to watch the ASC awards through that particular source.
It's ok; there are many other sources with the list of top gun winners.

Peter is quite adept though in holsters and such, as recall his accurate reply a couple posts after this pic - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...p#post18477299

And perhaps expertise in firearms in HDR too? -

One man’s retrospective on digital media - https://www.mediaplaynews.com/jim-wu...igital-stream/

Postscript – That ^ said, I think many here would be proud to continue to wear their “Put it on Disc” shirts. Although I will admit that with regards to non-physical media, Ultraviolet was a collaboration of some of the most brilliant minds in the industry and was waaay ahead of its time . Although it didn’t survive, it was an ecosystem and platform that shaped the industry and had hallmarks of non-fungible tokens and blockchain. Still, I stick with physical media .

Well, there were some technical difficulties during the streaming anyway even for those who could view it like in the U.S., but can you access the Drive videoclip in vimeo in your neck of the woods to test that pathway? - https://vimeo.com/user50567664 . And now just posted, the awards link is just to the left of that.

Bob, if you do have access ^, IMO, the most significant honor awarded was the President’s Award to John beginning at timestamp 24m55s.

Blue is the color of the Ukranian sky. I was born under a morning blue sky.
* I have two older phones, blue. The flowers on my lawn are yellow right now.

Color is important.

I like the music ^ ...Not a gun's fan ... From the Canadian Pacific coast ... I like fishing rods.

Anyway you and Peter use two top guns (iPhone 13 Pro Max & Galaxy S22 Ultra).
Each ecosystem has its fans. This is all fun.

It is nice that individuals like you and a lot of organizations (Hollywood studios, SMPTE, IABM - https://theiabm.org/the-broadcast-me...-with-ukraine/ ) as well as people like Don at St. Jude’s MC on Harbor Blvd. (who, coincidentally, snapped my pinky back in place, in the past - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...er#post7374115 which however is peanuts as compared to what he’s done since and currently involved with, per ABC World News) -

are supporting the best they can, one way or another, the humanitarian crisis going on. I can’t recall a single event other than perhaps 9/11 that has united such a broad coalition of diverse individuals and companies, be it in the entertainment business, or whatever.

To Peter and Penton; an opinion of an aspect of a summary ...

An aspect because the cameras for photos and videos are not part of his equation.
And to me it's the most important part on a mobile phone today.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max shoots in both HDR and Dolby Vision.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra shoots in HDR10+.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is the moving pictures (cinema) king ... for shooting videos.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is superior in its telephoto cameras with two optical power zoom (3x and 10x), for taking photos. Its digital zoom up to 100x is serviceable to an extent...say up to 30x.

But in that video above the guy pretty much sums up everything else about those two top gun phones. There are many good points going strong for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, definitely.
It all boils down to personal preference use in the ecosystem we live in @ one time or another or both.
