I think the only way to do it properly would be to have it in the movie.

I'm sure it will be on the 3D release.

Thanks, mate ... I emailed them to confirm what happens to my item if I wanted a replacement or refund (as they initial said I had to return it) and I got a reply back saying they'd issued a full refund and I can keep my damaged item. So I went from a 30% discount to 100% discount, shame as it's a lovely slip and set, I just get bad luck with Amazon.ca, thankfully they have great customer service, but I wish they'd use the hard cardboard boxes like Amazon.com instead of Jiffybags.

Amazon.com still use padded envelopes as well. I've had the odd box or two but it's not standard. I think DHL is the problem, when .com used them half the stuff I got seemed to be damaged but now they use i-parcel and it's fine even in the padded envelopes. It's much faster too, my copy of TFA should be delivered later today according to the tracking and that's with their cheapest shipping.

Yeah I am. Quite disappointed that we who like 3D have to wait till maybe Christmas to get the film. However I don't trust Disney they will end up screwing us over somehow.

I can't figure out their reasoning for not releasing a 3D version now?

They know all the fans who really want the film will buy it now...then they'll buy it again when the 3D release is out. It's just money-grabbing.

Well, not a bad outcome then

I don't bother with amazon.ca anymore for the same reasons.

The 3D release will probably come out in November. It will be a bumper edition with sneak peaks at Rogue One.

Do Tesco and Zoom generally ship early so you get it by the Saturday before release date?

I remember Play.com always sent early - those were the days. I love Amazon's service but I've never had anything early from them. They're annoyingly good at making sure you only ever receive items ON their release date.

Zoom usually ship early, not sure about tesco. Zoom are also cheapest with the 'SIGNUP10' discount code (don't actually need to sign up for anything lol), so it's best to order from them.

HMV deliver pre-orders on Saturdays and they're really well packed in cardboard mailers. I've never used Tesco but people seem to get pre-orders on Saturdays from them too. Not sure about Zoom, I've only used them once and got it the day after the release date.

If I want a release early then I always go with Tesco, think only one order out of the last dozen didn't arrive on the Saturday but was still here Monday.

Thanks for the information all, good to hear about the discount code on Zoom.

I tried to use a discount code on Zavvi for the steelbook but it told me I'd already applied a better discount to the basket, despite the fact I haven't used any code at all. Haha.

I know they would have finalized the BDs months ago, but I received The Force Awakens on the same day as the Rogue One trailer hit, it would have been nice to get the trailer (and other trailers) on the BDs.

Not to sound whiny (though I will) but why do we have to wait longer than the US and Australia to get this BD?

Just seems odd that the BD release is staggered when the cinematic release was almost the same day in every country.

Just been watching it now and there is a definite lip sync issue going on. The wife noticed it so it's definitely there.

What a shame.

I am sure they had a reason but gods knows what it is.

On the plus side we normally get MCU releases weeks before the US.
