I usually ignore ebay sellers who only provide stock photos & seeing a bunch of private listing sales in their feedback doesn't entice me either

I've had scammers before so I usually know what to look for. Then again he could be the real deal but I'd rather avoid taking the chance unless you could pick it up personally

I think I'll pass on it actually, I don't completely trust it. If you look at his other items, he's put much more effort into describing them. The description he's put for Star Wars looks a bit "copied-and-pasted" to me.

Yeh, I hate stock images on any ebay listing

But at that low a price and the fact you will be covered by both eBay and Paypal if it is a scam then you can't really lose.

Either it's the real deal and you bag yourself a bargain, or it's fake and you claim your money back.

He could have got them of the back of a lorry for all we know. These drug adicts go to extremes these days, and have to expand to gain money

I've changed my mind, I'll take the risk. If it's genuine, then great. If it's not, then you're covered with PayPal, so you can't lose either way. I still think there's a possibility he may have mispriced it, and people are rushing to buy it before he realises it.

A 9 year old ebay account with just 67 (Private) feedbacks.

A seller that SUDDENLY has a ton of big sellers at a price that's too good to be true. Anyone with any sense that's not looking to do a quick 'get in, get out' would realise these would still sell ATM for the £40-45 mark.

A listing that requires immediate payment.

Christmas is only round the corner and those funds would be great (seen it before on ebay).

No continuity in ANY of the listings. They've simply been copied and pasted and with complete ignorance to boot.

Those are the facts. Make of it what you will. I say, you ain't gonna get them. They're bootlegs or they're just knocked off.

Try to avoid pick up only like it's the plague!

You are not covered at all by paypal if you collect the item in person, you are only covered if the item is shipped to you.

So if this item was listed as pick up only, as soon as he has your money your screwed. You could turn up to his door and he could hand you BDrips of the film and theres pretty much nothing you can do about it. :/

If you've got money to blow then go ahead Even if you're on Paypal I'd just rather avoid disputes if it seems like a possibility

I was in ASDA today lots of people picking up the set but no-one bought it. They'd put that stupid Spider Alarm piece of shit on them so they were all garrotted half to death. It should have had one of Darth Vader's gloves protecting it.... with the middle finger pointing up for us original theatrical trilogy fans....

I'd ask him for evidence of the product itself before I hand money to him There's no way I'd ever give money up front first especially on a "too good to be true" bargain - that's like all those movies where they hold girls for ransom

Me: "Okay, here's your money. Now where's my girl?"
Guy: "Oh, I've got your girl....right here!" *whips out machine gun*
Me: "This is the last time I'll use ebay! ARGH! I've been shot! I'm leaving you with negative feedback!"

I'd be willing to bet my right arm that you won't get a reply. (Bit of a fail safe bet. I'm left handed).
