It's really George Lucas realising his mistake. To save face he's selling them on ebay as a nobody from Rainham.

Of course thats if it's the real deal.
My guess would be in the same region if he's actually got them.

Exactly

If they are the real deal then he would be an idiot if he put them for sale at a higher price.

If you came into that much merch you want it off your hands ASAP!

Not that I would have any experiance in the mater.....

Me either. Just a complete guess.

That WOULD though be the only explanation for them being sold so cheap (if he has them).

Thinking about it. He could have had his own mini riot. LOL!

If any more evidence were needed that the Ebay listing is dodgy, the Paypal username is in Chinese (not impossible but unlikely for an Ebay user in Essex).

Unfortunately I didn't know that until I'd put the payment through and it doesn't look like you can cancel a Paypal transaction so I guess I'll have to wait for my horrible bootleg copy (or nothing at all) to arrive and try to claim the money back.
I suppose with 100+ people in the same boat there won't be too much trouble claiming it back but I'm kicking myself for my stupidity now.

Anyone having problems with the docs on disc 9?.When I play the three docs on the old films they appear as a small screen in the top left corner of my t.v rather like a pip image.
I'm watching on a Technika BRSS10 and no matter what I do to the players display set up it still shows them as a beer mat sized picture in the top left.
I've not found any sign of a firmware update on the net.
Do any of you know what is causing this problem or how to get around it?.

Thanks.

Yeah, that was my thinking. But I'd still rather I hadn't fallen for an obvious con (assuming that it doesn't turn out to be genuine - I'll be shocked if it is).

Sounds like you've bought a dodgy boxset off ebay for about £22.90. File a case with Paypal immediately.

No offence bro and I honestly do mean it with the best intentions, but... Fools rush in were angels fear to tread.

Looking on the bright side though, that seller has had feddback since the boxset has been listed that someone cancelled an order (can't see what because of the dodgy private feedback) and the seller refunded. My guess is that it's for the Star Wars boxset. The buyer's seen the Chinese username in Paypal, put 2 and 2 together...................

It'd be pretty funny, if they were HMV display boxes for sale. They are technically 'sealed', lol

LOL. no my set came from tesco for £60.The other stuff on disc 9 work fine so I'm not sure that it's an issue with the discs themselves it could be my player as that was a tenner cheaper than this set.

That's happened before. A couple of years ago someone listed one of the then top mobile phones, but because the way they listed it just a photo of the phone was sent. The seller was about £250 better off and there was jack shit the buyer could do about it.

You're right.

I think it happened with PS3s as well, they were just selling the box.

Nothing the buyer could do, because it clearly said 'box', not boxed. They should have read the description properly, haha!

It's the three making of's for the OT from the 70's and 80's and the one about people dressing up as Stormtroopers that are affected.
The 30 years look back on ESB and the Star Wars Tech doc both play fine.
