Yes, that's the perfect list. Empire, Star Wars, Jedi is generally the best way the rate them. Same with the prequels. These deleted scenes from the OT are delicious

IGN does their scoring this way too . It would suck if they did it via maths & averages as then I don't think anything would get a 5/5!

But maths should be the right way, how can you give like video a 4 then the movie a 4, and then say its a 5 out of 5 ? confused, so what score would you give it if video was a 5 and movie a 5 ?, i wait with baited breadth for a reply, cheers!

Because the final score is a verdict! Having an overall score that matches the previous data based on a simple average is completely pointless as that's not what the typical reader wants to see either. This is all about satisfaction level

Its like the Rocky movies, most of them are good/great films (well, except for the one before Balboa) and most of them have pretty average PQ/AQ & little extras but people will buy it because its Rocky

I'm not the reviewer so I couldnt say, all I can say is that I've posted my own review for the set and gave it a 5. Because I feel it's one of the most complete BD releases to date. Yes it leaves out extras from the DVDs but pretty much everyone already owns those. So I'm glad we got pretty much 3 BDs worth of new material.

But if you are questioning me on the fact the final score is based on opinion and not a math equation of the other scores well my source on that is direct from a Mod and reviewer on this very site who posted the reply to someone who asked the very same question you did. So it's not my theory, it's fact

Can someone help me please?

A couple of these boxsets have turned up within my local CEX for £58. I have £46 credit so I can purchase one for £12 which is a no brainer.

I'm worried that these boxsets could be faulty ones, as CEX don't check. I have 10 days before I can receive my money back so I might purchase one.

What are the obvious/common faults with this boxset that I should lookout for, as I don't want to sit through over 40hrs of footage etc lol!

Should I click on every link to make sure they load & check the common problem with AOTC where the picture splits into 4 with some of the chapters??

Thanks in advance & sorry for pestering!

You could ask why it takes 20-odd days to ship something from Essex!

I'm a little concerned that I haven't had a refund from Paypal yet given that some people got theirs immediately and, unsurprisingly, I haven't heard squat from the seller. I guess I'll just have to wait until Friday and raise my dispute to a claim.

Interestingly, the seller's profile still seems to be active on Ebay but all of his items have been removed from sale.

Thing is every issue with picture and audio drop outs has been player or reciever related not a problem with the disc, so if you did com across an audio glitch then it's most likely down to your player or your reciever if you have one.

A lot of people with Denon receivers have been reporting audio drop outs, also a few ppl with PS3 slims conected to recievers have reported issues. The problem thee was fixed when they set the audio output to LPCM rather than Bitstream.

So the discs themselves so far have no problems. In the US there have been discs where the paint hs chipped off see the preious page for picture examples. I've not heard anyone with the UK discs experiance the same thing.

Also the one problem you might get would be damaged packaging. Check the booklet isn't ripped and the sleave that holds the booklet can rip too. Also dents to the box itself etc, and make sure the tape is still stuck solid to the spine of the blue trays otherwise your whole thing might fall apart

The first time you use paypal it takes a while to clear due to security reasons. But after that you can withdraw the money to your registered bank account as soon as the transaction is paid for.

Ok, checked out TPM tonight. WOW. People have been saying it's the worst transfer of the set. That excites me. Maybe I'm easily pleased but it looked awesome and the sound was INCREDIBLE. The new Yoda was great too, finally a change for good! I actually enjoyed the film itself more than I ever have. I appreciate how goofy it was to get to the darkness of ROTS, and besides I was 11 when it came out, it made me feel a little dewey eyed and nostalgic remembering at least the excitement before it came out.

Don't worry, I have a LOT more nostalgia for the Original Trilogy, so this bodes well for the rest of the week! But yeah, fantastic...I'm enjoying just enjoying it so far. Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon Vs. Darth Maul is still badass, and Qui-Gon ruled. AOTC tomorrow night, can't f-n wait.

Open the case now, either way you'll win, he wont answer and if you do receive it it's very different from what he advertised "genuine uk set" it's a Chinese knock off, i've had my case open for 3days now he hasnt responded but sent me a dispatch message.

From what I have learned eBay sellers from China and most people you buy from overseas will mark the package as "Gift" so it's not bound by the £18 limit (which lowers to £15 in November )

It is illegal to mark something you have paid for as a gift but they do it all the same. And it saves you a custums bill.
