A lot of people with Denon receivers have been reporting audio drop outs, also a few ppl with PS3 slims conected to recievers have reported issues. The problem thee was fixed when they set the audio output to LPCM rather than Bitstream.

So the discs themselves so far have no problems. In the US there have been discs where the paint hs chipped off see the preious page for picture examples. I've not heard anyone with the UK discs experiance the same thing.

Also the one problem you might get would be damaged packaging. Check the booklet isn't ripped and the sleave that holds the booklet can rip too. Also dents to the box itself etc, and make sure the tape is still stuck solid to the spine of the blue trays otherwise your whole thing might fall apart
Thank you for your reply. I have already checked the boxsets thoroughly & all 3 are in perfect condition. I own an upgraded 320gb PS3, but not a slim one so hopefully I won't experience any problems.

Thanks again Mavrick

The new Yoda was great too, finally a change for good! I actually enjoyed the film itself more than I ever have. I appreciate how goofy it was to get to the darkness of ROTS, and besides I was 11 when it came out, it made me feel a little dewey eyed and nostalgic remembering at least the excitement before it came out.

Don't worry, I have a LOT more nostalgia for the Original Trilogy, so this bodes well for the rest of the week! But yeah, fantastic...I'm enjoying just enjoying it so far. Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon Vs. Darth Maul is still badass, and Qui-Gon ruled. AOTC tomorrow night, can't f-n wait.
Good to hear that you're enjoying the set. I don't think TPM is nowhere near as bad as people have said. Worst transfer? yeah right...the only thing that let it down was the DNR, had they kept grain intact then it would have looked better, but having said that the film was really vibrant and crystal clear - the opposite of the DVD which was too grainy, zoomed in and washed out. This is the best TPM has ever looked.

Star Warriors is probably the best documentary on the last disc. It's so funny yet serious at the same time it's great!

The part when GL walks into the room of hundreds of 501st Legion members and they all burst into thunderous applause reminded me of the scene in the Simpsons where the nerds are mobing Mark Hamil and Mayor ****by, and Homer screams "NERDS!!!!!!!!!!!"

EDIT: I've just discovered q u i m is not aloud on this forum haha

I've had the dispute open for a few days but Paypal apparently won't get involved until it I escalate it to a claim and it won't let me do that until Friday.

I'm not 100% sure if it automaticly goes strate back on to your card or nt or sits in your paypal account. Either way it's easy enough to withdraw the amount from paypal back into the account the card is registerd to.

Spielberg was the first choice to direct 'Jedi', but Lucas got sued for not having cast and crew credits at the start of the film. He opted out of the directors guild and Spielberg was out of reach.

Hence the Welshman 'Marquand' to direct 'Jedi'.

Bit of trivia there for you.

Just stumbled across another decent review. Their balanced take on the fact that the original movies aren't actually the original movies seems particularly well made, I think.

Agreed!

My boxset arrived this morning! Having saved up vouchers for Amazon, it ended up costing me £20. Very happy.
