Thought this might interest some of you: new HMV code for £5 off online orders over £40 on right now. The code is 5OFFHMV40, and is valid until March 24th. I've just used it to re-order my Star Wars Complete Saga set with £5 knocked off.

You'll end up getting a half dozen of them through the post.... I'm not trusting postie with mine like I did for the DVD set. I'll pick mine up in person to make sure it's mint. Unless they make the case out of titanium.

I'll be really envious of the guys who get it early with pre-ordering though and may regret it if its a lot more expensive in-stores.

While the extras might sway me, I think I'll just be getting the original trilogy set, because unless they feature commentary by Mr Plinkett I have no interest in the prequels.

Have not read the whole thread so apologies if this has already been talked about but will Episode 1 have the new digital Yoda? I know that it exists as he was used in the Episode 1 clips at the Star Wars at the O2 music concert and I also remember reading somewhere that GL wants the digital Yoda to be the only version of the film now - any news yet on this?

I think the chances are quite high that a new CGI Yoda will be inserted into Ep.1. It will give the prequels a nice uniformity at least.

I'll be getting the whole lot, and I'm happy with it. For CGI Yoda, yes, please do that, the Yoda in the OT looked better than the puppet in TPM.

I watched a documentary last year about Star Wars in Concert where the producers of it where creating the monatges shown whilst the music was being played and they were actually told by Lucas to use a CGI Yoda from Ep I that he had created for a future release of the film; so it seems very definite that a CGI Yoda will be included.

I also hope that there will be some shots from Ep II that'll be redone with the new CGI Yoda, because looking at them now they really do look bad, compared to Revenge of the Sith.

One thing I think we'll be guaranteed though is that GL will not alter the puppet Yoda from the Original Trilogy.

If I remember correctly due to the way they filmed the prequels George Lucas was able to pick which actor he liked out of each take etc. So inserting Yoda won't be just a job of sticking a CGI one on top of the old puppet it should look great. They should be able to do the same for shots in EP. II as well.

Honestly I'd prefer it if they redid Ewan MacGregor's wig I can live with a dodgy puppet, the wig just makes me think that half of Obi-Wan's scenes were re-shoots.

I can live with mullets, ponytails and Danishes but that birdsnest really sticks out. Jedi Mullet sounds like something served in the Jedi Cantina I bet it tastes like poodo!

I think it'll either be the same date or be the 12th, but the latter maybe streching it a bit.

At the moment everywhere's saying the 30th, which I find hard to believe as I doubt Fox will want to release it two weeks after the US release. They didn't with Alien, so I doubt they will with Star Wars, especially when it's vastly more popular.

With a new release date, the sooner the better. Avoided getting the DVDs just for this set.
