There was a slipcover issued in the original first run. Along with the prequel trilogy. I bought mine a few years ago and unfortunately didn't get one. I have been after one since.

I think it came in a slip box not o ring type.

It is a slipbox. The case slips in to the right hand side.

Annoying thing is the reason their CS gave for the delay in shipping was due to it being an international order but that didn't cause you or others any delays.
