Can we expect the customary Zavvi steelbook for the 3D release?

Anyone wish they went for the Tesco exclusive for the mini book?

Probably somewhere down the line, though it looks like none of the US distributors are getting exclusives... So, it's anyone's guess.

We'll know in a day or so when Zavvi puts listings up, I guess.

It would be good if they could include Atmos or DTSX sound options.

Speak of the devil, Zavvi's pre-order has gone up!

Same price point as Amazon and no sight of an exclusive steelbook... Yet

I'll just be happy if they fix the bl**dy audio track. Well, not actually happy, as it proves that we all spent good money on inferior product to start with, but you get the gist.

Good to see. Doesn't look like there are any pre-order bonuses or exclusives for this release, but I suppose it's a fairly niche product given the main release was in April.

I'm not sure I'll get this.
The 3D will not get used at all and I'd probably only watch the new bonus features once.

I see. I wonder if they gonna do this for all the NEW SW movies from now on.

Hopefully with Captain America: Civil War and Guardians of the Galaxy have their IMAX scenes on the 3D blu ray, it bodes well that TFA will have IMAX scenes intact

What's wrong with the audio track on the existing blu-ray.

I'll just skip Rogue One at the cinema and wait for the 3D blu ray approximately 14 months from now lol.

Well, I'm in for the Leia scene that Digital Bits have confirmed is on the deleted scenes. That and an Abrams commentary will do fine.

With this being a digipak, I'll probably pick it up in-store somewhere. Thin cardboard mailer / jiffy bag + Royal Mail = pancaked.

Looks like a sturdy outer box like the ones used for The Hobbit EE and they all arrived in mint condition for me so no worries here.

Pre-order it with HMV store online. Always well packaged in a cardboard box and early delivery 👍

You mean 11 months... since that's the space between TFA and it's 3D release..
Was only 4 months between theatrical and the original release!
I remember having to wait YEARS between cinema and VHS.
