All zoom will say is "we can not guarantee slip covers or artwork. If you wish to return the item you can but we still can not guarantee you will receive the slip cover you desire." I've had this conversation with zoom many times when offers like these are on over Marvel or Disney slip cpvers. Top and bottom of it is their warehouse still has some of the old stock so within the stock rotation they get sent out first over the newer artwork. Best bet is either have a look on ebay for the slip when people start selling them separately which quite a few people do or call into your nearest hmv and ask if they have any spare slip covers

Yeah it was a worry of mine at all. I expected it for both Rise and Last Jedi. I probably should have just ordered the new releases that would definitely come with the slips and then gotten the rest from an HMV store where I could see for sure what I was getting.

No response from Zoom yet anyway.

In anticipation for zoom dropping the ball with Rise of Skywalker I popped to my local hmv (who have them all in stock now, typical!) And they were very kind enough to give me a slip cover for Rise. That's my OCD kept at bay now.

Can I just check - the actual cover (NOT the o-ring) for all of these is the new artwork EXCEPT TROS which has the old, original cover with NEW o-ring?

I don’t keep the o-rings but I would like the actual cases to match. Been hoping a 4K TFA would come out but if I can’t get all the cases to match I’m not too bothered.

Well this was a very nice surprise. My entire Star Wars saga is complete on 4k. Zoom still haven't sent me a dispatch notice or updated the order online from "sent to wearhouse" very happy right now. The rewatch can officially begin. My OCD is calm as I got the Rise of Skywalker slip off HMV earlier on today and of course zoom sent the original slip out. Only thing I think I would have loved on these slips is maybe if they were set out similar to the Marvel slips so you'd have Lucasfilm, a character from the film, episode... logo and UHD logo under the BBFC logos at the bottom but man I'm so pumped. Will i still buy the steels, probably, will I keep my original dvds and 4ks? Definitely

I decided to forego waiting for steelbook releases and bought these standard editions from Zoom as well. I got a shipping notification.

Looking at those spines and covers, these will look great, and for the record I didn't buy the prequel trilogy; Luckily my OCD does not extend to owning movies I'd rather forget they existed in the first place.

Very psyched to re-watch the original trilogy and the sequel trilogy as well.

Zavvi have been releasing the steelbooks over the last month or two. I've no idea where they are with them though.

Last week they had the sequel trilogy on pre-order, nice looking steelbooks, but with current promo, the standard editions will suffice. Plus I have no idea if they'll do the original trilogy again.

For the 11 Star Wars movies do they all have the new slipcovers but The Rise of Skywalker, The Last Jedi and Solo A Star Wars Movie do not have the updated artwork on the 4K amaray cases?

Also as mentioned all Blu-rays that come with the 4K releases are the updated and best version of the Blu-rays out? Thanks

Solo and Rise have the original artwork on the amary all the rest have the same art as the Slipcovers. As for them being updated yes and as for best versions I'd say that they are yes.

Well my sister checked in hmv and they said they would be happy to give me a slip cover for Rise but at the moment they don't have any spares so I'll just have to keep checking back.

Hmm so it's luck of the draw... Pretty lame as they advertised the slipcover version for the promo. Fingers crossed for my order...

Finally got a reply from Zoom. They are claiming they were sent the wrong stock for Rise of Skywalker but should have the new slip cover stock available by the end of the week so if I want to return mine and get the new version I can.
