I assume the discs from the 2011 Complete Collection box set which were reissued in 2015? But then what bonus discs are in there, the new ones? It doesn't make much sense to me and I'm getting the impression it's a non-issue.

On a related matter, from previous comments it looks like people haven't always been getting O-rings/slips when ordering from online retailers. Is this an issue?

I think they mean 2011 content, those releases last year were 2011 discs with new disc art, which stupidly matches the new 2020 disc art.

I don't think it is an issue. The 2019 US releases were single disc releases. To be blunt unless one of our regular members had the issue (not to disparage the OP on the other forum, but we haven't any context) and we could get more info, I wouldn't worry about it.

There has been a few problems. Rise of Skywalker was shipping without (I think Solo has as well) or the old O-Ring was included. But since offer will be oft repeated, it might be easier to wait for those. The prequels and original movies shouldn't have any problems.

I think in the early days of the 2 for £15, some people were not getting slips but worse of all was getting the April release of Rise of Skywalker with the old slipcover. I got all slips from Amazon for the prequels and original trilogy. I have the previous releases of the new films and still tempted to buy them again just for the slips. I would buy instore to make sure Skywalker is the new version.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised that they change the slips again for the next 2 for £15/2 for £30 offer.

Great, thanks. I'm now sorely tempted to get I-VI. I already have the Collectors Edition of VII so all I'd be missing are the couple of extra extras on VIII, and I can live without Porgs and a score-only track.

Are there more extras on the new Force Awakens bonus disc? I looked at the back cover on Amazon and the extras are same as the previous release but missing Force for Change. If I look at the list of extras, Force of Change is there plus ones like Sounds Of The Resistance, Inside The Armory, The Scavenger & The Stormtrooper: A Conversation With Daisy Ridley & John Boyega.

I was under the impression that the 4K/new BD have all the features that were previously on the 2016 3D release. TLJ is the only one of the sequels that has extra extras compared to previous releases.

That is correct, the Blu-ray now features the commentary track and the bonus disc has more content that was originally retailer and digital exclusives.

I was in Sainsbury's and they had just one of the new Rise of Skywalker with slip so decided to buy it. They did not have Force Awakens or Last Jedi on blu ray but did have the DVD. They did not have any of the other SW blu rays. I have now ordered TFA and TLJ from Amazon. I hope I get the slips.

I forgot to take the slip off until now. It is the old version but with a new slip that I already have ! The blu ray was in one of those security boxes. I have not opened the seal yet, could the discs still be the 2020 ones?

My I-VI BDs came today from Amazon. All with slips. Might have to get a replacement for ROTJ as the slip has some marks, almost like someone has used it to rest on when writing something, and a couple of the paper inserts are a little creased, but not too bad. Otherwise all good and glad I've got them.

Are the stickers on the slips easy to peel off?

yes the stickers come off easily. Just do it slowly. still waiting for TFA and TLJ to be despatched and looking at Wednesday now. Hope I get slips.

If somebody asked to see one of my DVD/Blu rays then proceeded opened it up and started going through the discs, they would be banned from my house for life. Look with your eyes, not your hands. lol

Yeah but in this case it actually helped. He luckily had the receipt so he could go back and exchange it. If I hadn't asked to see the boxset when I did he would have had that duplicate disc for who knows how long and not been able to exchange it.

Force Awakens and Last Jedi came today. Been worrying that they were not coming with slips after getting 7 so far and ruining the look. They came with them ok. I am also ok with Rogue One and Solo being the old versions. I don't really want to buy them again just for the cardboard.

I still think it is weird not to bother doing a matching case cover for Rise of Skywalker.

I think it might get updated eventually, we just have to wait out the initial runs to run out.

But Disney gonna Disney, when a bit of forward planning and reversible wraps could have solved the issue.
