Yes but it's a shame he doesn't seem to understand that some people don't want his special editions of the original trilogy. It doesn't bother me that much to be honest, I'm just happy to have the films on Blu-ray.

Same here Pre-ordered the complete saga for now while it's at a pretty reasonable price. If it's the same price or better when Play or HMV get it I'll cancel my Amazon order.

Did the same thing - £69.99 is a good price either way, in my opinion.

News so far has been sketchy regarding the extras (but deleted scenes etc is exciting stuff, Koo Stark/Cammie here we come lol), hopefully more info will be released soon. I'm aware that I've waited this long for great news to now want more may be considered ungrateful....

It would have been nice to have the non-bastardised versions of the OT, but I think we all knew that was never going happen. Still, at least the PT won't stealth its way into the collections of those who don't want it.

Same

Always prefer pre-ordering at HMV, but if they charge more I'll happily stay with Amazon.

While i agree its unlikely they'll be included there's nothing in todays announcement that says the original editions wont be in the sets in some way........6 hrs of the 30 hours of extras???. Wishful thinking i know, but until we get a definitive list of whats in the set we can hope!

No way I'd lay down 70 notes if theatrical option isn't included.

I think I'll just be getting the Original Trilogy. Hopefully it comes in a shelf-friendly box.

I think i'll probably go for the complete saga.

9 discs in total. I wont be getting rid of my autographed DVDs (David Prowse, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew, Jake Lloyd and Jeremy Bulloch) in favor of the new blu-ray edition, but if it includes all the bonuses from the DVDs (both editions of the original trilogy and the single edition of the prequel trilogy) pluse a lot of new stuff, then £69.99 is a very good price!

Hopefully, it'll be a fancy boxset and not a cardboard box with 6 seperate amaray cases in it. These films are legendary, make a big fuss over the BD's Fox!

Pre-ordered The Complete Collection. If Play/ HMV do it for the same price or less, I'll order from them. I tend to get pre-orders quicker from them than I do Amazon.

Far too early for pre-ordering, but it's the full set for me. No big fan of the PT (ROTS being the best of the 3 IMO), but it's Star Wars and why do thing's in half?

Will not order the Complete Saga (it has all the extras) before it goes down in price. I'm not paying that much when 3 of the movies are shit! In fact if it doesnt include the Theatrical cuts of the OT, just forget it..

Complete Saga pre-ordered for me! Was hoping for some cool LE like the alien anthology but with 30 hours of special features, I'm sure this will do!

September could be expensive. It's a likely date for a complete Harry Potter set too.

Seems to be becoming a regular thing then, as the last 3-4 months upto Christmas last year were also pretty expensive Blu-ray wise

Nah, It's being released on Warner's summer weekend (The Dark Knight, Half-Blood Prince, Inception) so Potter will be coming a dead cert first or second Monday of December like it always does
