Has anyone of you received your Star Wars boxset? Someone over at the US forum had posted a pic of the Saga set.

Pics of the packaging if anyone's interested. The UK set should pretty much be identical, apart from perhaps some big fat rating logos.

United Kingdom What if JarJar had been in SW Trilogy!

It seems my previous thread may have gone walkabout so I've re-phrased it! If Mr Lucas had originally included JarJar Binks in the original Star Wars trilogy where could he have been placed! You can even decide where you would have liked to have seen him: maybe in the garbage disposer after you had padlocked it shut or chained to an ewok and let loose up against an ATST. Come on guys lets see how much fun we can have and how many different locations/situations we can place him at. My choice would have been laying next to the tauntons stomach when Han arrives!

There was a lovely short were JJB was the cargo Solo unloaded to get in Jabba's bad books. Apart from that all I can say is:

No. Nnnnoooo!

This thread will probably go into the movie thread....

He is in the original trilogy, at the end celebrations in RotJ there's an added planet shot of Naboo and you can hear "Weesa Free!"

Shame, box art is shockingly bad. For a product with a wealth of previous posters to draw from, why do they insist on the crappy artwork all of the time. The second Widescreen VHS (UK) for me were the best, great (original) poster art on Black, perfect! it's a good thing I keep my DVD's & Blu's in a drawer!

Shame I had to cancel my pre-order at £48.99! Especially since I'm a massive Star Wars fan.

But had to cancel a lot of pre-orders since I'm going to Uni and funds are going to be really tight.

I don't know how any other Blu-Ray collector's already at Uni manage it!

I also can't take my Blu-Rays with me to Uni

My favourites are John Alvin's covers from the 1995 VHS tapes, which I bought a few years back just to have sitting in my room.

I notice the characters that only appear in the original trilogy are pretty small in that pic.

By the time Lucas has finished tweaking them, they won't even look like they were filmed in 70s/80s, LOL.

If messing with the movies wasn't bad enough they insist on these arty pictures instead of giving us a proper cover and maybe some stills of behind the camera in the booklet.
