I seem to remember reading somewhere (think it was DVD Active) that a version had been submitted (to the BBFC) regarding this. However, it's not mentioned on the BBFC website yet, and most online pre-orders should arrive by next weekend so it's cutting it a bit fine.

Batman Returns was released uncut in the UK on BD but the BBFC website didn't list the resubmission abd uncut status until a few weeks after release.

Blu-ray masters are expensive so many UK discs are just US discs in UK packaging. I suspect this will be the same with Attack of the Clones.

Maximum Risk is cut on UK DVD and no update on its uncut status is on the BBFC website. However the UK Blu-ray is uncut. Spider-man 2 is the same with the head butt placed back in the film. Spider-man 2 UK Bluray has MPAA and FBI logos before the start so again its just the US disc in a UK box.

Conan the Barbarian is uncut if you change the language or play it on a none region B player. That is a Fox release so they may go down that route.

Ill be totally shocked if the head butt is still missing from the film.

Id be shocked if the headbutt is cut aswell, but then again wouldnt be suprised as they know they could cut it out in this edition then re-release the blu ray set uncut in the future knowing people would buy it again. With Star Wars having such a massive following they know they can be greedy and release any edition as they know people will still buy, i know people on here have stated they have cancelled their orders, but i think we all know the sets are going to sell very well

I don't think it would work like that. The BBFC doesn't aim to sell the product, Lucasfilm/Fox does, the BBFC just rates them. Anyway, next week we should hear about it.

I think there was a post a few pages ago, where someone had a reply from the BBFC saying that Attack.... was now rated a 12.

On the boxart, the US has two pages of this picture and the OT characters are on the top right, can someone post apicture of that. I don't think our picture has been flipped horizonatally but man do our OT hero's look weird. Especially Princess Leia doing the Joker....

Leia looks really creepy there, like the guy from the Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy video at the end.

http://youtu.be/vLMijZxBabw at the 5min mark.

The art director should be shot for this, and all those who said, "Yeah, that's great" should receive similar treatment. Why they chose to farm the artwork out to 'special' classes is beyond me!

The BBFC has a fairly relaxed attitude to headbutts nowadays. Batman Begins had a few and a 12 certificate, it surprised me at the time. I also see it in other 12 rated films. A long ways from The Matrix scenario, where it once had headbutts removed to avoid an 18. The UK Clones bd will be uncut.

Inside art is ridiculous, Headbutting is ridiculous, the "nooooo!" is ridiculous, it's all seeming just a tad bit ridiculous

EDIT: That art work (in the most political correct sense I can put it) makes Samuel L. Jackson's head look like a Malteser

I just watched the JLC bring back Star Wars again on youtube

It's quite interesting to see how some of the actors didn't get on, mostly Hamill and Ford and Baker and Daniels.

Recommended watching!

I love how JLC didn't even bother with HF, knowing full well he'd probably charge the earth like Hamill.

Anyways, I'm pretty dissapointed that they aren't including all the PT DVD deleted scenes i.e. Anakin meeting Padmé's family, Yoda arriving on Dagobah and Grevious killing Shaak Ti. However, I'm looking forward to seeing Qui Gon Jinn teach Yoda in episode 3, and Anakin killing Shaak Ti. It really makes you think I have something against Shaak Ti, right? nah, I just liked the deleted scene and I'm interested in seeing how Anakin kills her.
