Another question, but this time to those that have watched AOTC: is that teal tinge we saw in the pictures actually present?

Got my Zavvi order yesterday, watched episode1 last night.

During the pod race (think it was the beginning with engine start ups) it sounded like there was a sound stutter, you know where like a video freezes on the computer and it keeps playing the same bit over and over again, along with some "digital" noise?
If that makes sense....
Can any-one confirm this? It's hard to describe but it could also be noise the added for engine start up.

I've got to disagree there mate. I've had bigger boxsets delivered and they always were with the postie. HDNL brought an ipad to me from them but that was more to do with it's value and i was provided with a tracking number.

I got to disagree with you on that one any time I order something big through HMV it always arrives by royal mail.

Sorry, but this is exactly £60 instore? I'm a very late comer, just got the funds today, but I'd rather save £7 trying to get the pre order senitype from Amazon whose £57 price has increased, but also spend the £2.50 more than Tesco Entertainment to get it immediately. Just wanted to confirm this is definite/

Yes, but it's not that noticeable when you watch the movie itself. Only when you compare the Blu-ray and DVD side by side.

NO sign of mine either today, ordered from Play.com. Not sure it'll fit through the letterbox and will be at work Monday. Hmm.

You're correct

To answer some stuff:

No sound problem at all in trash compactor scene. 7.1 going through Sony da2400es.

Sony bdp570 no playback issues

Ps3 original 60gb, no issues on any disc.

That guys voice sounds like Francis Ford Coppola to me for some reason.

As has been mentioned before I don't like how those discs are stored in this US boxset. Some of the artwork looks nice but some isn't quite so nice. Of course the most important thing is whats on the discs.

If you can't wait then you guys should just buy instore if you keep getting messed around waiting for your boxsets. But if getting the set for the best price you can find is whats most important then it shouldn't matter waiting a little longer.

There may be other [hidden] subtitles but these discs are crashing my PC's ripper (for now) so I can't test. Maybe someone else can try.

No Suomi on disc 2 + 3 -what did the Suomis ever do to deserve this?

The subs are for the film and commentary.

....and finally...when you choose the subtitle of you choosing it changes the [formerly iconic] scrolling start text to that laNguage. Nice bit of CGI branching, thanks.
Thanks for the info, too bad about no Icelandic subs. Gonna wait a bit and see about the Nordic release of the set before I buy it. Really want to watch this again with my daughter so the right subs is a must.

They should have included this in the spoofs. Might have bumped the age rating up a bit though

PS. Han shoots first

2. Are those alien captions burned-in or player generated? (Again I hope the former is true)

3. At the very end of the closing credits on IV and VI is there one of those ridiculous "US Forced" caption messages on screen? (also see Date Night and Avatar for this ridiculous FOX trend)
1. On the frame.
2. Player generated, but they've matched the font of the theatrical release, so they look burned in.
3. Yes!
