I've had a pair of Sony IR surround sound headphones for about three years that are similar to these:

I think they're great even for the high price (I got them at a discount but still 150+ IIRC) and the IR means no interference from other devices but I rarely use them anymore since I moved out of an apartment and into a house so I can turn my surround sound up without bothering other people.

Just got these for Christmas. Very nice. Around the ear, so very comfortable and great sound. Very cool base station/charging stand.

Just got the 110's for christmas, and used em last night...no interference at all, great sound, pretty deep bass for being headphones...

although I didn't think the fit was the best...instead of wrapping over my ears, it was more like "against" my ears, so i'm sure some sound is escaping...but my wife didn't smack me so it couldn't have been too bad.

doubt there is any.

I found these Home Theater Systems that have wirless kits for the rear speakers...not completely wireless...but maybe close to your needs.

I wonder which surround sound headphone is better, this Sony or the Pioneer SE-DIR800C Cordless Surround Headphones.
