Just politely turned down a job opportunity from a small nearby pharmacy because the pay is just too low. Hopefully the hospital will be willing to give me a shot.

Sorry to hear that, but isn't it better to get something and be earning money in the meantime rather than hold out for the best fit? Ya know, the old "bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" kinda thing? Also, consider that it's always easier to get a job when you have a job so maybe you could take the smaller gig and be actively looking while you're working? Just a nickel's worth of free advice from old man Rager. Good luck either way.

I would take it but it's almost $2 an hour less than I currently make so I wouldn't be able to pay my bills. Otherwise I'd jump on it like a cat on a mouse. Wish I could've made it work out to work at that pharmacy part-time, oh well.

I understand where your coming from on your decision, I missed a call about a fast food job because I'm wait to find out about the job I interviewed for yesterday. Also like you I need a job that will pay the bills but also something I'm going to be a good Mach for.

I wanted that pharmacy job, especially since it's retail which would enhance my marketability. However I still have to be able to pay my bills, which is why I think the best scenario would've been me working there PT and staying FT at my current job. Oh well, at this point just keep applying at pharmacies, might have to start considering school again as well.
