I know a lot of exercise freaks swear by seafood, which I can't eat. Hadn't really heard that steak is better for you than chicken or turkey, I doubt it though since it's red and more fatty.

Fair enough, but in my hey day which wasn't that long ago, I got bigger than I've even been before by eating mass amounts of fish and animal protein plus clean carbs and I'm only a shade under 5'11". Trust me, you can get big if you wanted to.

I used to eats TONS of tuna and salmon, the omega fatty acids are great for joints and heart health.

You doubt it? C'mon, man...read up. *Lean* red meat is a fantastic source of protein and is rich in amino acids and iron. It also contains naturally forming creatine, although in very minute amounts. Just don't go overboard with it, but it's important to work into your diet if your wallet can afford it.

You're not breaking down muscle, you're burning calories, calories that would otherwise be used to add mass to your frame.

Not a huge fan of Applebees ever since I read the majority of their menu is microwaved, as said by former workers on reddit. But I went there with friends back in October and ordered something which was basically mac & cheese, cut up chicken breast, and tomatoes? It was actually pretty good, but the price wasn't for something so basic with a fancy name. Forgot what it was but it's not on their menu online from what I can see.

Denny's is okay.
