Just finished a 67.5 minute 8 mile treadmill run, about to use the foam roller on my calves. Best pace run ever, I give all the credit to Omegaice for introducing me to my online coach/advisor Hal Higdon.

Yes I have an iPod and a port, I just prefer a CD. I'm old fashioned.

no kidding! It's just that you can fit about 20 songs on a CD and you have your whole library when you plug the iPod in. I used to use the frequency tuner thing-a-ma-bob and then I got a simple aux cable and I liked it much better because you never had to find a station, worry about a little static coming through and it plays louder.

Took a pre-workout supplement about 8.5 hours ago and still can't go to sleep, never again. Definitely going to get less sleep than usual and going to have to rely on coffee to stay awake during work tomorrow. Ugh...

How are you so focused?

I have a treadmill at home and I would love to dedicate myself to it. But man, I get on and if ten minutes goes by I'm good. I get so bored and distracted. I have a TV in the room, thinking it'd help me, but nope.

Maybe I'm trying to run too fast. I'm out of shape - I hate saying that but it's true. I used to be in top shape not too long ago and was active, but now I can barely run a good distance.

I'm a collector, like so many of you guys, but meaning that I also still enjoy collecting CDs so I'm totally cool still spending money on physical media. Sure, I'm not as willing to spend $15 for two good songs liked I used to be but if I'm going to buy a whole album, it will not be of the digital variety.
I just love that you can have everything from A-Z right at the tips of your fingers. Being that I used to have a habit of listening to two songs on a CD and then changing discs, that's really helpful.

I'm at a Starbucks that I haven't been to in a long time. They now have all of their outlets covered so my comp died within 5 minutes of turning it on. Luckily I wasn't too shy to tell the guy that came to sit down next to me that he has a nice ass...I mean that the outlets are now covered (just letting him know he won't be able to plug in if that's what he was planning to do). He told me that the outlets on the ground are still available to use so I'm still here. Luuucky you guys!

Going to reply to a couple FB messages and chill.

I couldn't agree more, we are kindred spirits in that way. I usually try to set my limit for $10 for an album on CD. That way, I can import into my digital library for upload to the cloud and then I have the physical copy to spin on my home theater rig when I'm down there slugging beers or bourbon late at night in the dark. I have a HUGE wall unit of CDs.

This is the first time I've seen you post a pic of a beverage that wasn't alcoholic

Rage, do you have pictures of your CD collection? When I read, "Huge wall unit of CD's", it made me picture those wall racks/cases from Ikea. I think those are pretty cool looking. It also makes me think of some of those places that sell stuff like cases. They also sell the types of display where you can put the album in frame behind glass and display the front of the case as opposed to the spine. I've never bought any but I thought they would be pretty cool to showcase your favorite albums.

Here ya go! As you can see by the piles at the bottom left, I'm woefully behind on getting recent purchases into the rack.

I didn't notice that you replied at first Victory. I was wondering if you might be looking for a case. Sounds like you have a few things to get which is cool. Any idea what kind of case you might get?

Nice collection Rage! How many CDs do you have and are you familiar with either of the cases/displays that I mentioned in my last post?
Once I discovered iTunes and got my first iPod, I thought I was done buying albums but then I thought, "well I'll still support some artists like Dido and a few others" but now that I have been bitten so badly by the collecting bug, I would be happy buying CDs all the time. I simply can't because I'm broke!
