My daughter and granddaughter just left after a great visit and supper.
I lost it while saying goodbye.
When I'm back from work, I'll have two granddaughters.

I just put on Kings/Oilers, that I have recording.
I'll pack sporadically throughout the game.

Just got back from Pittsburgh - great time.

First, we went to Hal's Bar and Grill. Excellent food! Drinks were a little pricy, the entire bill (for just my wife and I was $100 (including tip)). But it was worth it and we never go out and do this.

Then we headed to PPG Paints Arena (home of the Penguins) and saw Randy Houser and ALAN JACKSON.

I just saw the DVD at Target about 20 minutes ago. I had never seen it for sale there I don't think. I haven't seen the film myself.

Sitting here drinking what I think will be my last drink for the night. Had a pretty busy day. Took a nap and still feel tired. Love my boy, but he is ****ing tiring my ass out. So debating on a streaming a short show, movie or watch the Netflix BD?

Definitely worth seeing The Babadook but personally, it wouldn't hold much replay value for me.

Drinking some coffee while I wait for the girl to wake up for breakfast(baking some cinnamon rolls and thinking about fixing some French toast). We were up til 4AM playing Black Ops 2 online, so much fun even if she did kill me off multiple times. Wondering where my fiancee went so early this morning, she actually took the Jeep so I don't think she would've went far (she won't drive a unfamiliar vehicle too far).

Drinking another cup of coffee, breakfast is done, thinking about what we're gonna do today. Most likely we'll just spend the day relaxing inside, on this rare lazy Sunday. I'm hoping it warms up a little bit so I can finish cleaning out the truck, it's currently only 17*F not the coldest but still a bit cold to spend outside for any length of time IMO.

Right now I'm researching pre-insurance inspection stations, first time I've had to do this but then again the Jeep is the first vehicle I've ever financed and needed to get full comp/collision coverage on.

Grabbed the Sunday Paper from the Driveway, now drinking Coffee while looking through the Forum and other interested Sites.

Thinking about driving down a main thoroughfare a 1/2 mile from my house to look at/find that SUV I'm might be interested in buying.
I'm still looking for something to replace my poor wrecked Cherokee...

The street ( Dixie Hwy ) has a lot of Car Lots, and being Sunday many ( but no all ) will be closed so I won't have to deal with the Car Salemen.
It takes so much less time if all I'm doing is looking to see if they have what I may be interested in if I'm not bothered by the car Salesmen
( till I'm ready to really talk about that SUV I might buy )
I'll be able to pull in and see if they have what I might be interested in without the extra time and frustration a Car Dealer would add to each visit.

I have pulled into Car Lots before ( during Businesses hours ) and I would do a slow roll through the lot looking to see
if they had what I was looking for, all the while noting that a Car Salesmen was walking to me and changing his vector to
keep heading toward me as I moved through the lot

It is kind of a funny thing to see, I'm sure some of you have had the same thing happen to you.

I've never heard of it either frankly, but from what I can gather they'll just take pictures of the vehicle and note the odometer reading and verify the VIN, to send along to the insurance company so they have "before" pics/info in the case of an accident. Like I said this is all new to me I always paid outright for my vehicles in the past, everything I've driven has been 15-20 yrs old so I never bothered with full comp/collision coverage. I'm a safe and defensive driver so the mandatory basic liability coverage has always been enough for me. My question is will I need to have this inspection done every 6 month renewal, or is it a one time thing..my insurance agent didn't have a clear answer for that one, she just said they use a 3rd party and that when I call them to schedule an appt they'll be able to tell me. I sure hope I don't need to do this every 6 mos cause that'll be a huge pain in the ass (And I don't care if it's free, it'll still be a PITA!)

That said, I asked my mom if she knew anything about this...and she said when she financed her one of her first vehicles and insured through Nationwide back in the 80s that they did it as well but it was only when she first established insurance. They just reported the odometer reading and take front and side views of the vehicle. Hoping that's true today.

We did that. You'd be surprised at how many dealerships are open on Sundays now... Every time we saw a shark, er salesman, walking toward us we'd roll up our windows and keep coasting away from them. Don't acknowledge them and hopefully they'll pass us by. When we found a couple prospects we walked into the dealership to discuss it. I suck at negotiating but I was constantly telling my fiancee we still have another dealership to check, the sales guy walked into an office and came out with his manager...he sweet talked us for awhile but I kept saying I wanted to sleep on it. Eventually he came back, said he could take $4k off the asking price ($25700) if we bought it that day. I ended up texting a friend of mine at the time, I said "I'm texting a friend of mien who is at the Ford dealership up the road. they have this same Jeep for a $14995"..he walked away and came back and said, $16500 out the door is the best I can do BUT also he also threw in a 2nd transmitter/fob thing, brand new tires, rust prevention undercoating(which isn't really a dealbreaker anyway on a USED vehicle and IMO new vehicles should already have it done before it gets to the lot), and free oil changes/inspections for 4 years.
