Sitting at camp while my fiancee & daughter go swimming..I think I may go for a 31 mile bike ride to commemorate my 31years of existence today. Problem is I'm not familiar with this area so I don't have a clue where'd I end up..the adventurous side of me is okay with that though

Sitting here drinking another cup of coffee on the front porch playing catch up in the threads I actively participate in. Wife is super excited about our new home. Sadly it didn’t work to my advantage earlier and I ended up just getting walking out of the room in frustration to let the dog out to poop. So now I’m chilling before I get cleaned up and shaved for the day. I’m either taking the family to our new home town or flying solo to one of the larger towns.

27 Jul. Her start date for her new job is 3 Aug (yup she has to start on a Friday, guess thats how the government works). I've been looking at job openings within the company I'm currently at (theres a location in Spokane that looks promising but my fiancee isn't sold on moving that far away so we'll have to see what happens ).

Up with the birds thanks to my stomach or overactive bladder So I decided to pay a bill. Now I’m deciding if I’m powering through or going back to bed. I’m thinking the latter since no on else is awake yet. Plus, I’m supposed to be taking the family to the movies or my wife to La-Z-Boy if our son’s not up for it.

What movie are you guys going to see? I'm currently checking show times for Skyscraper, daughter wants to see it and not going to lie I sorta do too plus the 1 theatre i don't mind going to only charges $5 on Tuesdays & $1 popcorn....and it's conveniently located on our way home from camp

Although I suppose we should go straight home since my fiancee's 25yr old car overheated again on her way home Sunday. She wants me to replace her water pump/ timing belt this week but I'm trying to tell her its not worth it besides its got an interference engine which means her valves are likely bent and i don't feel like rebuilding the head. I've done it before but its time consuming and I only have 3 days of vacation left and a long list of crap I wanted to accomplish before i go back to work.

rebuilding a head is not fun at all. i mean it can be if there's nothing else you wanna do. but if it's on an old car and there's other stuff you'd rather be doing...? yeah.....not a fun project. a car that old is just a repair waiting to happen. today it's a rebuilt head, tomorrow it's a rebuilt transmission, then brakes, then something else.

been there, done that. not what i'd call fun if it's nothing but a money pit.

Exactly! Hope you dont mind I'm showing your pist to her, she doesn't believe me lol. She keeps saying 'fix this and we'll worry about the next issue when it arises " hon, i love you but you don't have a clue how much of a money pit its going to become. I dont really want to put couple thousand dollars of new parts & blood/sweat and( because its a Toyota ) likely tears into it just for it to end up at the junk yard in 6-12months lol
