Paying a couple bills, and checking my work e-mail. Looks like they're sending me to a newly opened shop about 5.5 hours away to do some training. Not sure how much they expect to get accomplished in 2 days. Oh, and get this they're reimbursing me for the mileage but not approving lodging/meals for this trip, like I really feel like driving 11 hours a day. I'll be driving home only to turn around and drive back. Oh, and one of the caveats on the bottom of my travel orders states that I still have to manage my "home" shop this weekend, um okay let me step into my cloning machine- how the f**k does personnel expect me to be in 2 places at once? Not everything can be done remotely via phone/computer. And being the senior associate, on the weekend shift I don't have anyone with the experience to run this place. Guess I'll call the weekday supervisor to see if he can/wants to work some over time this weekend.

There's a pro tennis tournament in San Jose this week. I'm walking downtown to go to the bank and I pass one of the player's coaches. I say something real quick and then I'm on my way. Well walking back the same way, I spot a guy that I had met over the weekend. He's found the player's hotel and he's staking it out. He's pretty hardcore when it comes to the autographs. Like he has the binder and everything lol
He also heard that FC Barcelona is staying here but not sure on that one.

Anyway, off to an appointment and then some pizza buffet for lunch I think.

Doing a couple loads of laundry. Seems that The Lady & I have more laundry than we did when we had the kid living with us. And she was always getting dirty. Odd, indeed.

Called job#2 to talk to the weekday supervisor if he could work this weekend and he said he couldn't. About to call the head office and speak to some one in personnel. Right about now I'm ready to step down and be a regular shop tech again, less stress.

I’m chilling for a bit then heading over to a restaurant to meet up with my wife’s cousins. We met them both last night at a pub where one of them was playing drums in a blues band. It was a wicked time, but tonight we’ll be able to hear each other.
Mom wants to go to a Pow Wow tomorrow so I better take it easy tonight.

I'm thinking I need to volunteer to be a driver for the tennis tournament next year. Besides shuttling the players around to where they need/want to go, you get tickets and you get to drive a Porsche since they're a sponsor.

Noice. Its like what my uncle does, he works for Maybach he drives celebs around New York, and stuff, and some good perks included too.

I honestly have no clue what happened Thursday night. All I know is she ended up sleeping on the couch and I woke up on the floor, next to the couch. Good thing we have that big queen size bed in the bedroom. She told me I was upset about something and kept yelling at her about working 3 jobs to get her out of her mess (sure I don't like working 2 f/t jobs but I never blamed her for it) and that I was mumbling something about leaving her, quitting my job and moving out west to be with my goddaughter.

Taking a working lunch, we're f**king swamped and there's only one other service tech in today and no one in reception. So I'm eating my pb&j sandwich while I check in customers and update accounting, funny how many of these people have nothing better to do on a sunny Saturday afternoon than to take their car for service. Despite 3 other shops in this area, these people insist on waiting up to an hour & half here. It must be the free wifi/cable/coffee we offer, ha

Sounds like all that stuff you’ve had bottled up finally boiled to the surface. While it could have been handled better I think it was for the best bud. It makes for a healthier relationship.

Thinking of taking our Boy to see Teen Titans Go To The Movies while my wife does some shopping. She’s headed to Nashville for a big presentation and needs to be on point.

Plus the boy needs to get out of the house. The MiL watched him while we picked up some things for the house. Unfortunately we were gone a long time and he tired her out. So giving her a day off to rest.

Checked into Best Western down the street from the shop for the night. Now to take a shower and go find something to eat... this town pretty much rolls up the sidewalks at 8:00. There is a bar/club that is open all night, but something tells me they don't serve food.
