Just got done seeing Predaturd. I normally like just about everything but I could have done without seeing that one. Good thing I used movie money.

Overslept this morning and didn't feel like going in late only to leave early to take the GF to a doctor's appointment later so I decided to just call in sick. I've got some personal business to handle anyway, which thanks to mandatory over time at both jobs I won't have time to do this weekend... So now I'm drinking some coffee and going through my finances

Sorry, been preoccupied with background checks that were being made complicated due to my new employer’s coordinator. It sounds like my buddy is going to use steel. Hopefully it looks as sweet as it sounds. Otherwise I’ll use the hooks the Mrs and I picked up. I kind of want to get a cutlass sword, some fish net and other nautical props in the sunroom.

Since you can see everything from the street. Of course I have no idea if she or her mom are thinking the same thing? I know I’m not a fan of putting those huge ass pictures on the wall as it takes up a majority of the wall with the wheel. Anyway, sitting here keeping an eye on the MiL and Boy while my wife is out and about.

I just put Raiders of the Lost Ark in the BD player for them to watch. I’m not sure what I’m going to do while I’m waiting for her to get home. Feel like I’m in a state of flux emotionally until I get my start date. Well, at least the sun is shining. Feel bad for the folks impacted by the hurricane. Alright, think I’m having a drink and maybe play a little Red Dead maybe

I've been going back to Second Harvest to volunteer and I met this nice girl from Malaysia who has also been volunteering. She and her husband moved here about five months ago so they're still pretty new. Her husband works during the week so she and I are going to meet up tomorrow and then go up to Palo Alto. We'll check out Stanford and then I might take her down University Ave which goes through downtown. Just being friendly since she's still pretty new here. No sheisty stuff going on

Up earlier than usual thanks to my acid reflux. Hoping I can get a little more sleep. Going to check my email before I do. Fingers crossed (again) my form gets the stamp of approval. Because I’m about to contact the DMV and get a copy of my driving record at this point
