Having a bout with the cold right now. Had a bit of a sore throat over the weekend, then woke up Monday morning with a deep gravely voice (which has since somewhat returned to normal) but the rest of the cold set in by afternoon. Now mostly dealing with a runny nose and a bad cough.

On the plus side, sitting around most of yesterday not feeling like doing much, I discovered a cool show on Science Channel called Mysteries of the Abandoned that I watched for hours. Now I'm just taking it easy watching Blue Bloods reruns and trying to decide what to do for dinner.

Writing a business analysis report but it's reading more like drunken rambling with incoherent thoughts strung together by Excel charts and graphs.

Honestly, I don't know a damn things about finance, so I'm just bullshitting really hard making it look like I know what I'm talking about.

Just paid some bills online and ordering some car parts for my truck and finishing this drink before I head to bed. Gotta love Pay Day, I had over 80 hours of over time last pay period but won't see a dime of any of it.

1. buy a tank of helium
2. attach a long, flexible hose

Just got home from work. Started as a substitute in the local "ghetto" area recently. The pay is aright but it feels like most of my time is spent trying to keep some semblance of order. So much chaos and so many fights. The vast majority are good kids but they are absolutely terrible at focusing on anything - especially when a substitute enters the room..

I need to figure out some kind of solution. Or/and figure out what to do with my life in general. Sometimes I wish I could be the IT guy mostly doing his own thing at the school - I have the wrong education for that though.

Just got back from the Costco liquor store and should probably have my head examined.

Every year, I check to see if they have that Johnnie Walker 4-bottle holiday gift pack in stock and every year they do and I hem and haw about buying it. I've done this for like the past three years and every time, I go back to buy it like a day or so later and every time it's sold out. Well, not THIS year...Rager ain't having none of that poppycock!
