Just got done with my annual review and it went great...here's to hoping I can keep my job for the next six months.

Nursing a small headache.. did some bills. Trying to find energy to take my son to get a haircut. I've been home all week on a staycation and I'm over home. lol

I usually only carry a few bucks myself and I've not had one problem yet. It was one the first steps (albeit a tiny one) I took in starting to simplify my life a few years back and surprisingly it helped immensely. I'm sure there's something to be said here about carrying less both physically and mentally.

Paying some bills and trying to find some motivation to clean up this pigsty we call an apartment. After our routine chores, I guess I'll be cleaning out my little home office/gym to turn into a permanent guest room as it looks like the Girl's nephew will be staying with us for awhile, he's been badly bullied at his new school and his mother wants him out of that school ASAP but isn't in a position to relocate herself yet due to starting a new job. The kid's 7 or 8, with mild autism and was forced to go mainstream in a inner city school district thanks to a flawed special ed program. Not that we're in a position to be legal guardians, both of us work insanely long hours and on top of all this She has decided she wants to go back to school to get her M.D. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Happy Friday everyone!

I was just discovering that UB40 covered the Allman's Midnight Rider. And I'm doing some laundry. And later I will go get lunch.

Getting ready to head out to replace the brakes on a close family friend's van today. Hopefully it'll be the easiest $400 I make, but the van's 15yrs old in the northeastern rust belt so I'm not holding my breath.

she wants to watch videos....no seriously....she likes watching videos on my monitor. so when she wants to do that, she comes and sits beside my chair and just stares at me until i tell her she can get on my desk.
