about to go out and take a look at my truck

i was driving home yesterday from my niece's house and had a strange noise coming from the right, front wheel....area. i pulled over when i could (a few hundred feet later), checked under the truck, looked inside of and behind both wheels on the passenger side; i checked for anything leaking; i listened for anything that might cause a strange noise like that....nothing. it sounded like something was hitting something else as the wheel was spinning, but i couldn't find anything at the time. so i'm gonna go out, put it up on stands, take off the wheels, and see if there's something i couldn't see yesterday.

after i stopped, checked, then continued home, the noise didn't happen again. so i'm not sure if it was something i ran over that got caught up and then slung out before i was able to stop (i was going about 40 mph). the road i was driving on at the time is currently having some construction done to it (i'm assuming due to the new amazon fulfillment center they're building that's on that road).

Having a Tylenol and Pepto Bismol cocktail, God I wish I could just shake whatever this is. At least I no longer have a fever..

checked out the truck...nothing wrong that i can find. although i do need to change my brakes, soon.

after that, i cut the grass and chatted with my neighbor for a bit. then i cut a shelf for him to hang up in his utility room.

now i'm gonna go take a shower 'cause i'm all stinky and sweaty.

eating dinner...corned beef and cabbage

cooked the corned beef overnight in the slow cooker.....

gonna use the leftover to make some sandwiches for lunch, tomorrow

I got a new WiFi router from my cable company today, since the other one was broken. I didn’t have internet yesterday, except on my cell phone.

Now, the fun part.

I am reconnecting my devices with the new WiFi password.

Sat at work but leaving soon to be in for when the repairman comes to fix what he broke on the fridge freezer when carrying out an unconnected repair... at least it's all covered by warranty and free, even after owning it 15 years!

I'm finishing my coffee then heading out to wash the truck and walk the Mutts.
It's supposed to be nice this long weekend and I'm hoping to picnic tomorrow.

I'm at work until 3:30 PM today but i don't have a shift this weekend cause there's too much going on for me this weekend. I'm seeing John Wick both Sat and Sun and my Aunt invited my Dad and myself to a BBQ at her house cause we have family here from Colorado which i don't see them too often all getting together and eating and drinking cause my Aunts Boyfriend hook's it up with Beer or shots haha hoping to not get too crazy cause there's work Monday morning.
