^^Lucky you, Lucy Diamond. I felt like the whole day dragged despite us busting ass the entire shift. I’m sitting here scrolling through the forum while The Mrs gets our tacos (more like a burrito) together for dinner. I’m working a mid shift tomorrow. So I might have more than a fair share of drinks before I head off to bed.

Hoping I actually get some training tomorrow. The store manager said he wants me to do some lead (supervisor) training for an hour tomorrow and then he and I will work on some resets. Meanwhile I’m screaming in my head “How the hell do you expect me to do my job if I’m not trained properly!!”

My sleep pattern is totally messed. Unbelievably so. I dunno what I'll do when Tim's stops their summer hours and I can't get my fix at 2,3 and 4 a.m.

Thanks Lucy. I don’t go in until 1000 and I’m just hoping the next few days go by fast. I’ve got 3 days off and need to help The Mrs clean up our house at least one of those days lol.

Sitting here having a cup of coffee, listening to Spotify and surfing through the forum before I go get myself cleaned up for my shift. As I said above, I just hope it goes by fast and will add, uneventful.

yeah i just got done talking to big man head of cw 58 nashville they filed complaint direct tv in hands fcc goverment he thinks might be back next few weeks before new fall season starts i don't know been down since june 4th

Awesome night last night at the county fair. My buddy took two wins in the 4 cylinder and 8 cylinder classes. I hopped in the cockpit of his one and only Dodge Caravan (mini van class) and took home the trophy for that class, such an adrenaline rush. I've driven cars in the Derby in the past but nothing with so much power, so much fun and I'm already looking for a van of my own for next year although I'm sure that'll go over well with the Mrs. Now to decide whether to keep this trophy or give it to my buddy since it was his van and his entry fee.

OT: Drinking some coffee and watching some Roseanne reruns while I wait for the family to wake up so we can figure out what we're going to do today.

What I did earlier tonight

dug out my old VCR and hooked up to the cords and the dish network box thingy. everythings hooked up right and Im planning on recording stuff from channels like AXSHD, FXX etc to record some of the new shows and movies like Baskets and whatever new movies been coming on recently. I have two blank VHS recording tapes im using to record stuff off of tv.

Been a long long time since i recorded shows etc with my VCR

Sitting here playing catch up on the forum over a drink. I’m thinking I’m switching to one of my actual drinking glasses. It never feels right when I try using a different sized glass.

I guess because both cw 58 Nashville filed a lawsuit and direct tv as well

now its all on fcc then go from there

from what I gather cw 58 thought they had an extension few more weeks and in 1st week aug but direct tv pull the plug on them back on june 4th or 5th something like that thus that's where filing a lawsuit against direct tv come into play

I'm thinking about changing my brake pads. But if I do that, I may as well change the rotors too. But if I'm changing those, I may as well upgrade to better rotors. Hmmm...this day is getting expensiver by the minute.

Coffee and watching some AT thru-hike vlogs on YouTube. Definitely going to do my own in the next year or two, hoping to have some company but the Wife won't walk in the woods and the kid is losing interest in camping/outdoorsy stuff.

Drinking some coffee while The Mrs makes me some breakfast. I’m closing tonight with the assistant manager. Hopefully we’re not short handed and I can learn come of the closing procedures properly. Already talked to the other lead about observing and letting me close on Wednesday. If I’m lucky that will give me enough to close on my own Thursday.
