that's exactly what i did with mine. i MAYBE could've gotten more if i sold them to an individual (even though i didn't have anything really worth the effort). but, like you, i couldn't wait for something like ebay or craigslist. i needed the money quicker and the pawn shop was the best solution at that time.

i kept all my steelbooks, metalpacks, iron packs, box sets, digibooks, and any sort of "collectible" version. i also took off all the slipcovers in case anyone ever wanted to buy those. i wouldn't have gotten any more for them at the pawn shop with the slipcovers, so i just took them all off and put them in a box, in my closet. maybe one day someone will wanna buy them...

Sitting here drinking coffee. I had a rough night of sleep and woke up to the sound of rain, that led to “Oh SHIT!! Did I close the tents at WORK?!?!? So I went down to the store to make sure (they were), but both the manager and assistant manager were already there. Great start to a day. Now The Mrs is winding me up and I’m too dog tired to listen to it. I’m going to try and play a little SW Battlefront II before work. If that doesn’t work I’ll get cleaned up and go in early.

After about 20min of sleep I'm getting ready for another ~20hr work day. i hope to slow down in 2020 because working like this much longer is going to kill me. As a plus though, my side business has never been this good! Fingers crossed that I can turn it into a full time job next year, money's good at my current job but I love being my own boss

I'm enjoying a coffee from Tim's with my Mutts laying beside me. I'll be missing that for the next couple of weeks.
Got a lil bit of running around to do, then I'll be ready to head to the airport.
My Supervisor is off on disability, so I'm kinda wondering who'll fill in for him. There's two options and I like both.

What's your side business? (Unless it's a secret.) I think I read it before, but can't remember now. Being your own boss sounds great - I hope you make it work!

Cleaned out the litter boxes, unloaded the dishwasher, shaved and about to grab a shower before I head into work. Dog tired and hope that everything has been running smoothly today. The last thing I need is another kink in my week. The boss is driving me mad with this “Everything is fine!” attitude. No dude, it’s not. You can’t expect the same results with a 2-3 person team that you’re getting with a 4-6 person team. That, and I’m sick of closing with only one other person

I love the idea of this! Sort of "Under the Tuscan Sun"ish. I imagine jobs there are few and far between, though, so I'd almost have to be independently wealthy or ready to retire to do it, even if houses are practically free. It's fun to think about it, though.

Re cleaning out the litter boxes^^, have you tried the Fresh Step Crystals litter (blue crystals)? It's amazing. More expensive, but worth it. We'll never go back.

(We also tried an all natural litter made from corn cob or something that the health food store convinced my BF to try, but our cats wouldn't use it. They won't even step in it.)

It would be awesome I think. My mom went to Italy with her mom about 17 years ago and I think she and my stepdad are going next year. I'm so excited that she's returning. I haven't been there myself but when I was in Austria, I did unintentionally cross the border into Italy and drove for about a kilometer before turning around.

If you liked Under The Tuscan Sun (the book or movie), I would strongly suggest reading The Reluctant Tuscan. I read it a couple months ago and I really enjoyed it.
