Last year's BF sales saw a lot of Air Fryers for sale. I did buy one, and it's sitting in my garage.... hasn't been used.

Getting ready to go to job#2, they called up and said their new head mechanic couldn't close today(3-10pm) and needed tomorrow(8am-10pm) off and if I was available to fill in for them they'd pay double my part time rate. Thing is they have no big jobs scheduled so likely I'll just get a bunch of oil changes, brake jobs and state inspections; $30/hr for that? Heck yeah I'll take it.

Now I only wish this guy would finally retire/move on so I can take his position full time and quit my day job...

Getting ready to take a shower. I closed with the ASM tonight and we busted ass. We moved some shit around in the back and made a space for the u-boats that we’ll be utilizing on freight day. It was a good day and we went over projected sales. So I really hope the SM doesn’t shit on it tomorrow. Because I’m too tired to be hearing any of that. Fingers crossed I can get some work done. Because I’m tired of hearing about resets and my sets on the floor being wrong because of them.

and i just commented on a youtube video that will probably get me either suspended or banned from youtube. but i really don't give a shit. it was nothing against the person who posted the video. i really like the guy that posted it and think we need more people like him in this world. but the nature of the video is what pissed me off. and i used some rather colorful language to maybe try and get my point across. it'll piss off a lot of people, but i honestly don't care. it's how i feel about that situation.

and hanging out with the sales crew here at the shop, they're trying to talk me into buying the new 2017 F150 Raptor that they just got in - sweet truck(always wanted a Raptor), but unfortunately I'm not in the position financially to upgrade my current ride just yet.

In other news I've never seen this place so dead, we had one car pull in so far this morning for air of all things - doesn't matter to me how slow we are, I'm still making $30 and some change an hour today, I hope it continues all day. Thinking about running down the street to Gamestop to pick up COD Modern Warfare but my gaming-obsessed brother told me not to waste my money on it

Still slow here at the shop, just got back from a little test drive in the '17 Raptor... Such a smooth and responsive ride, I so want this truck, I just text the Wife to get permission to trade in my 2000 Ranger that she's been driving and she said only if she gets to drive the new truck. Long story short, I won't be getting it. Ugh, too bad our 2015 Jeep-badged thing isn't worth shit, I'd swap that out in a heartbeat.

Spent an hour at the financial advisor's office this afternoon buying life insurance policies for myself and the missus (fun, fun), grabbed a few beers and some lunch afterwards and now back home about to cook up a vat of chili while wathcing the UGA/Florida game and sipping on a vodka/soda. I gotta say it's been a good day.
