was just admiring the packaging that my new cases came in. i normally don't fawn over packaging, but these things are really nice. they're very well thought-out and well-executed. the company that makes the cases also makes other items:

wallets (they even make one with built-in tile tracking...kind of cool, imo)

Last night it got too dark to continue working on the yard, so I made a fire and had a few brews:

It’s cooler out today which is perfect. I’m about to shower then start unloading 2600lbs of rocks so I can return the Uhaul trailer by this afternoon.

cleaned up the shop (mainly just swept up and used the vacuum to get rid of a bunch of sawdust)

then i loaded up a bunch of concrete edgers and took them over to my niece's house. i also took her a planter i made, yesterday.

after lunch, gonna go back out and maybe wash my truck...

Just got back from work. I got a lot of assignments done today and that makes me feel good. There are still more work to be done, though. Will work on those next Tuesday.

I just got back from dropping off the Uhaul and getting some steaks for Saturday.
I should get back at the yard, but I’m feeling like a nap is in my immediate future.

Watching the final episodes of Star Wars Clone Wars and using email to interact with a hiring manager to see if I can get a job to last me till La Posta re-opens. Not sure he wants to hire someone for about a month but if it were me, I'd be thinking "how can I lure this person out of their current job?"

La Posta is a local restaurant I'm working at to pay the bills till I graduate. It's a large event/tourist destination.
