watching this week's 'Ghost Adventures' [Quarantine] episode.

Getting ready for work. They're offering overtime this week and as much as I like the extra money I'm not sure if I want to take advantage of it. Besides I think I may need to make an appointment to take the truck back to the dealer already, as there seems to be a connection issue with the backup camera, on a whim I decided to climb underneath the tailgate and check the wiring and found it to be disconnected-strangely enough so i plugged it back in and now the camera works but it seems to be slowly draining the battery. I could further trace the wires and have the battery tested but seeing how it's under warranty I shouldn't have to. The wires do look poorly spliced/heatshrunk but otherwise it could be a bad/filthy ground wire. Or I've thought seeing as the truck's 6yrs old it may still be the original battery at the end of its life span.. Ugh I hate diagnosing electrical issues, may be the deal WAS too good to be true?

made some sloppy joes for dinner with some mac & cheese.

and I just signed up for Disney+ and about to vedge in front of the TV to watch some more.

i got a year of d+ for free through my cell service provider. I don't know if I'l keep it, or not, after the year is up...tbd.

Getting ready for work. Looks like I'll be working OT this week after all. Wife was fired from her new job at the local clinic. Gotta be some kind of record to be fired before actually starting. Damn trying times and budget cut backs but it's partially her fault for taking a covid19 LOA immediately after accepting the job.

That ^ was a bit anti-climatic. It went too well.

I'm watching Vice which is about the George Floyd stuff and similar.
Terrible.

Incidentally, while watching a bit of news this morning I saw that there's been some Aboriginals killed by cops up here in Canada lately.
Too bad we're such a small percentage of the population and that any noise we'd make, would be more of a whimper.

Watched Death Wish (2016) for the first time tonight. Seemed like Vincent D'Onofrio was channeling John Malkovich a bit.

Now I'm ripping these CDs to iTunes. I think I've had the Norah Jones albums for over 10 years

The middle one is a very welcome departure from most of Norah Jones other albums. Weird falsetto though.

What up gang! How’s tricks. I hope you are doing well. So much going on. Tried a relationship for awhile and didn’t catch. Had what I feel was my 4th first date on Friday and it was nice, but not sure it is going anywhere. Going to the beach vacation soon and looking forward to it clearing my head.

Laying in bed, drinking some ultra-caffeinated Black Rifle Coffee and watching the latest Corporal's Corner episode on YouTube with the wife. Trying to convince her to go camping out in the woods with me in the near future to clear her head, I'm just afraid she's going to get severely depressed again and I don't want to go through crap again. Never knowing if I'm going to come home from work to find her trying to harm herself. It was nice having the kid here to keep an eye on her and keep her busy while I was working but I don't have that option anymore.
