I've started doing or watching many things at 3AM because it felt more like 2 PM in the afternoon to me

I saw a Driller from the opposite rotation yesterday and convinced him to come in early for OT. Being short handed, we could use the help.

Trying to cool down after yet another heated argument with my girlfriend(no pun intended), this time about leaving our windows open a crack all week while it's been dipping below freezing outside. Not sure how she can complain as she hasn't even been here. Now she's cranking the heat way up..I just shut off the thermostat in the living room and reopened the window. I can be accommodating but really it's currently only 50degrees outside, that's not that cold IMO and we have plenty of blankets and warm clothing. She feels that the apartment should be 86degrees all year, that's too freaking hot for me. Not only this but it seems we're always fighting about something lately,sigh.

Oh well looks like I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight, on the bright side at least this way I won't be waking her up at 2am while I'm getting ready for work.

I didn't realize it didn't have them till it downpoured and it was like stepping into a waterfall going out my front door.

Thinking I may call off work Sunday given the daylight savings change and everything. That'll give me a 5 day weekend and next week is supposed to be very nice weather-wise, between the BS changes at work and constant domestic troubles at home I just need some time away to reflect on my recent life's decisions.

Daylight savings means I can go to bed at 8, get up at 3 and still get 8 hours of sleep. Then go to work 5-9 and run for an hour and watch football the rest of the day. Make up for the short shift by going in 6-12 on Sunday. Don't really trust the others to stock my floor properly anyway so I might as well do it as often as possible.

Headed back to San Jose where I’ll either finish the day at IHOP or just go home and watch a Blu Ray. Ran into a buddy I used to work at the post office with. He’s also a fellow Marine so we may meet up next Thursday and do some Veterans Day dining

I finally took my AC out this week. I forgot how heavy it weighs. I figured it was time, given it got into the 20s last night.
