People don't post enough pics in this forum so I'm going to post a pic of this sick Range Rover I saw on Friday. I also saw, for what I think is the first time, a BMW M8. I saw two in Burlingame actually. One was out on the same street as the Range Rover. It was a shiny black color if I remember correctly but then I saw this matte black one in a driveway and it was hella nice.

This doesn't apply anymore because of warranty changes, but Carmax used to offer bumper-to-bumper warranties on every type of unreliable car.

Doug Demuro (former Jalopnik columnist) found out about this from an article commenter, and then he bought a 6 year old Range Rover and purchased a 6 year bumper-to-bumper warranty, sort of as a fun experiment.

Coffee and YouTube, then some breakfast before I get started on some housework. I'm supposed to be meeting a client in North Carolina this week but given some recent circumstances I'll probably postpone that trip and meet them via Zoom.

Looking at the website of a local used car lot. My brother and I have been riding to work together for a few months now, but he's about to transfer to another department in a leadership role, so we'll no longer be working the same hours, and I don't want to have to rely on getting a ride from someone else. So I'm eyeing a few different cars and am planning to head out to the lot this Saturday when I'm off again to check them out in person and possibly (hopefully) get one.

Over the extended holiday weekend (+ a PTO day), I finally got my second CD rack in place and input probably close to 85 CDs that were lying on the basement floor ready to be organized. Such a good feeling to get everything situated and get to enjoy your music room again which I did tonight.

Instead of being on my usual machine (PV 271), I’ve been asked to operate a Haul Truck (Komatsu 830E) for the first part of my rotation in. I said yes, so tonight I’ll be with the department we work closely with instead of my crew.
It’ll be a nice lil change.
