Just got back from curing last night's beer and sake-fueled sushi dinner with the wife with a beer and sake-fueled Friday lunch with the wife.

Contemplating the best course of action in setting up my new Marantz pre/pro this weekend.

I would love to get one myself, but I am priced out. The performance and look of a Marantz is unchallenged except for a select few others. Look forward to your impressions.

Pretty sure it wasn't in my budget either, but I threw caution to the wind and gave myself a "ten month early" 50th birthday gift.

I have taken notice how active you have been and providing members with info, so thank you. Yes, that other message board can be a mine field, but it can also be very helpful, especially with new gear.

Now I'm about to hit up Google Maps to get some directions I need for my romantic getaway to the coast next week.

Monday and Tuesday we'll be in Monterey (she's never been to the aquarium before), and then Wednesday we're heading up to San Jose, which will include a tour at the Winchester Mystery House. She's never been to it before, either, and I haven't been since I was a kid.

That sounds like a great time. I finally have a car again so two weeks ago, a friend and I took a nice drive through Los Gatos and Saratoga and then up Skyline and then took 84 over to Pescadero and ended in Half Moon Bay.

Hope you guys have a great time and let's hope you have some decent weather!
