Kind of kicking myself as I’m sitting at Applebees. Today was either a save money and eat lunch at home day or a Wendy’s cheap day and yet here I am posted up at a high top in the bar area.
I considered going to Chilis because you can get a better deal but I took the bus today and I got lazy

I do like that Applebees has their Brownie Bites for $1 during lunch. I normally get a few, never just one

I did that for lunch today too. For $1 you can’t beat it. I will say I’m Wendy’s out. Probably won’t eat there again until next March. Although I do want to try their orange creamsicle frosty.

I had forgotten that the $2 and $1 offers expire today and I didn't know that they were for a limited time only. I got to thinking that were kind of a constant, you use one and then the same offer pops up a couple days later. Well I enjoyed my Applebee's but I should have gone to Wendy's

The deal reloads every Thursday which worked out to two burgers per week.

Ah, I'm in for the evening. I got home about an hour ago I guess. I start at 4am and if I take the bus, I get up a little after 2am so I don't stay out too late these days. I'll still use the app for some deals. I'm assuming that they'll still have offers; just not the $2 and $1 burgers...

And now I finished watching Becoming Jane which I had started a few nights ago. I have no problem at all with Anne Hathaway playing a famous English writer but I wonder why they didn't go for a Brit.

Same here, i think i had like 3/3 of the doubles and singles since the promo started. Getting a double and then going to mcd's for the free fry was an awesome cheap lunch. Since these apps i just can no longer bring myself to spend the money for combo meals anymore. I mean seriously 13-15 bucks for a fning medium sized meal, no thanks i can go to a pub and get a real meal and even a beer if i hit the right times for a little more than that amount.
