Hey, what do you think of an Indian Scout or a Chief as a first bike? I have some riding experience from years ago. No public roads, traffic, freeway riding etc though.

I have learned that you should go for the bike you really want for the long haul, don't get something you want to "start with or settle on initially." If you do, you may have some buyer remorse and spend even more money to upgrade to the bike you really want.

With my personality, I said to myself...."go big or go home."

You know what is really odd about that? I've never had a scratched disc in my life. And I've had discs that were rattling around loose in the packaging. I've also bought so many used discs sight unseen and never had a scratch. What are the odds? Now that I've said that, I will probably start getting scratched discs. Thanks a lot of SF. Some marine you are!

You know I said the same thing when I was getting my current TV. That's why I went with an 82". I also said that same thing in the bedroom, which is why I never to SF's house.

I really want the Scout Bobber. It's 1250cc. I'm thinking I might be even more interested in the Chief but it's over 1800cc. The orange Harley that I test rode was over 1800cc and I didn't break anything, the bike or myself

I have heard people talk about growing out of a bike too soon. I'm not sure that would happen to me to be honest but I suppose it could. I suppose I like having your argument because that's the one I tend to favor. Not the "oh, it's your first bike so you should get something used. You're going to drop it and you don't want to drop your new $20,000 bike"
Well you're right, I don't want to do that. So that's why I'm going to try and be VERY careful

I would need to know your movie count, etc. I buy a lot of movies which is why I see it so often. It’s a major issue that should not be ignored. I see a lot of members on here who don’t give a crap if it’s scratched and still plays. Totally their prerogative, but it could act up in a different player plus it affects resale value.

You also need good lighting to pick them up. A quick glance is not enough.

Going to bed before my 3 day weekend trip to Minnesota for my next 50K. Going to try to pick up Monday and Tuesday shifts at my PRN job to make a bit of extra cash.

Let's see. Over the course of 24 years I have probably bought 2,000 adult titles on DVD or Blu-ray. I have probably bought 1,000-1,500 regular movies on DVD, Blu-ray, & 4K UHD-BD. I may be overselling it, but I don't believe so. In fact, I may be underselling it a bit. At one point, I had one whole row of adult films in my closet at the old house. And even then my collection of those was spilling over quite a bit. Plus, I've inherited some movie collections along the way. The count is not as high as my music collection over the years. But to be fair, I started buying those when I was a kid. So that "body count" is higher. If our music or movie collections were like our "body count" then in the immortal words of Dorothy we would be:

"She is The Slut! She is the Grand Poobah of Slutdom! She is the easiest woman in this room!"

"Dorothy Zbornak, you take that back!"

"The Slut is dead, long live The Slut!"

Sitting here at work listening to Abra Moore's Everything Changed. This is an album that wrecked me horribly. It was like she took my heart, ripped it from me, and splattered onto a CD. Totally everything I was going through. Art mirrors life a little too close for comfort for me sometimes.

Preparing to run a few errands, and then.... I might be rescuing another 6-string orphan. I have now officially lost count of my guitar, bass, and amplifier collection.... again.

Did some dusting and finally decided to swap my old AppleTV with the latest 4K version. Got it as a gift last year and never got around to setting it up. It’s a bit smaller height-wise and they removed the fan. The remote is also USB-C which is cool. I’m sure it will run smoother with the better chip. Still a minor bump upgrade wise, We’ll see if I notice a difference.

Other than that…waiting for the UPS guy to show up. Not even the busy season yet and he’s consistently between 4-6.

Lots of Baseball tonight.

If you have any Shout or Kino discs, pull a few and check the discs with a flashlight.

5:17am and I’m on my first break of the day. I was an hour and forty-five minutes late so I started at 11:45pm

Didn’t eat out the last two days which is great because I saved money. I had meant to go out but never got around to it. I think today I will though I’m not sure what I’ll get yet. I did check to see what my upcoming paycheck will be for this Friday and

I foolishly attempted to clean the interior of a car this afternoon and now I am trying to get my heart rate down from tachycardia range.

What's more relaxing than visiting blu-ray.com, though?
