Yeah, HTC makes great phones, but avoid the tablets and the dated software. Seriously, the highest rated tablet is the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (which is rather ironic because I hated the original Galaxy Tab). It's more of a niche tablet right now, especially with it's Flyer pen. I'd WAIT until the next iteration if you want to stick with HTC. I'd get the Galaxy Tab or the Acer Iconia and upgrade in a year.

Edit: I also believe it does NOT run Honeycomb, which may cause issues later.

I'm not really worried about the OS because it has Gingerbread and it is confirmed to be getting Honeycomb in the future but with that said I am still very open to which I get. I think the Tab looks great but I have to decide if I want a tablet bigger then my iPad. In a way I really like the 7 inch form. I very well may even wait till ice cream sandwich is out before I choose one.

I think the Tab has a better processor too, depending on what you want. So, wait, you already have an iPAD? Why not the iPad 2? Is this in addition to your iPad or will you be selling it?

Yeah I have an iPad and I'm keeping it. I don't want the iPad 2 because its not enough of a jump over the first to justify it imo. I want a second tablet so my fiancee and I each have one to use.

I'd recommend the HTC flyer if it were lower in price. It's just that for the price, the Acer Iconia is probaly the better buy.

For the iPad 3 I want the larger size ssd to be 128Gb or more as my main thing. I also want a bump in speed and screen resolution. I know the iPad 2 has a pretty big speed bump over the first one but all my apps still work well for now. Maybe by the time iPad 3 is out there will be more apps I want that I will need the speed increase. Really I'm not to picky but I almost always skip a generation with my Apple products. I had and iPhone 3G before I got the 4 and I had a second generation ipod touch before I got the forth gen one.

I'm not asking for a retina display on it just a bump up that's all. The people asking for a retina display on an iPad are nuts. There is no need for a resolution like that on the ipad.
