And that is true. Personally, I don't blame other countries for hating America. We're arrogant, obnoxious, and think we're the "World Police." I absolutely hate how this country is ran and wish our government would look at European countries that are striving. Even when we try to implement universal healthcare, absolutely nothing gets done about it, they just fight back and forth as to why it shouldn't exist.

The news here is also horrible. They'd rather spend an hour talking about Justin Bieber and other celebrities than actual world events going on. It's truly sad how much tabloids and celebrity gossip run this country.

My sister asked me the other day about some celebrity and I said, "Why would I know he was getting a divorce? Do you even have the slightest idea what is going on with North Korea right now?" and I'm sure you can guess the answer.

Sorry for the rant, I just hate how uneducated this country (for the most part) is.

Not to try to start an argument or anything, but I highly disagree with this.

That the US are concerned outside of their borders. The government pays attention to other countries (I'd hope so since they have to haha), but in terms of just day-to-day citizens, a lot of them couldn't care less about about any country except the US, and they think it's the "best country in the world."

Ok, you're coming at it from a different angle. And you know, I think I agree with that on many levels. After all, it was drilled into their brains by the government and its rhetoric of the day, by companies who proclaimed that only "Made In The U.S.A." was good enough. I think personally that the average intelligent person knows different.

BTW...I am Canadian and think that Canada is the greatest place in the world to live. That doesn't make me very different from my U.S. brethern or does it?

America went to a war that didn't exists against Iran for weapons of mass distruction that also didn't exist from a leader who never once threatened the U.S.
George Bush has become one of the worst world leaders of all time.
More and more people that used to love America now have no time for the self involved 'we are the people' attitude.

I want to say that Bush was nothing more than a puppet, but I really don't want to get into politics on this forum.

Hmmm....

Political assassination has gone on for all of time. I never expect it will ever end.

The Zeitgeist docs are eye opening too

A puppet who ran America for nothing more than his family gain.
I have no real interest in politics either believe it or not nor do I particularly want to get into it but the fact still remains that the U.S. stuck their noses into business that doesn't belong to them hence the now worldwide hatered.
