And that is true. Personally, I don't blame other countries for hating America. We're arrogant, obnoxious, and think we're the "World Police." My sister asked me the other day about some celebrity and I said, "Why would I know he was getting a divorce? Do you even have the slightest idea what is going on with North Korea right now?" and I'm sure you can guess the answer.

Sorry for the rant, I just hate how uneducated this country (for the most part) is.

I think that's a misconception. Maybe that was true 20 years ago and further back, but not today. The playing field in terms of innovation, progress, growth and a multi-national presence has equalized quite a bit, and the U.S. is much more concerned about what happens outside their borders than ever before.

That the US are concerned outside of their borders. The government pays attention to other countries (I'd hope so since they have to haha), but in terms of just day-to-day citizens, a lot of them couldn't care less about about any country except the US, and they think it's the "best country in the world."

Ok, you're coming at it from a different angle. And you know, I think I agree with that on many levels. After all, it was drilled into their brains by the government and its rhetoric of the day, by companies who proclaimed that only "Made In The U.S.A." was good enough. I think personally that the average intelligent person knows different.

BTW...I am Canadian and think that Canada is the greatest place in the world to live. That doesn't make me very different from my U.S. brethern or does it?
