sitting here trying to figure out how i'm supposed to do a "test project" for a job to which i applied.

i'm supposed to build a modest site that incorporates several things that are relatively simple, but i have no way to do it.

it would require programs which i do not have and are expensive as hell to purchase; like in the several hundred dollar range. and while there are free trials of the programs, the os i'm using isn't supported by them so it won't even let me download them.

Watching Oblivion on BD, just activated my first Verizon Wireless phone, wondering when it will be ready for use, all it says right now is initial programming required. Think the Verizon person I spoke to said 24-48 hours, wonder if it would've been shorter if I hadn't asked to keep my old #.

What kind of a phone is it?

Right now I'm setting up an online account with Wells Fargo Dealer Services so I can make my car payments online. I'm chatting with a rep from Bank of America just to confirm my checking account number. I would hate to enter the wrong one

That's usually the case when porting a number from one carrier to another. My sister has done it 3 times, and each time it has taken between 1-2 business days. Otherwise activation on a Verizon line is normally less than 10 minutes, if that. I just activated an older droid-x that I handed down to my son. Did it all online. It took longer to login and enter the details on the web form vs the actual activation process.
