Taking a bit of a break from social media and tech in general. It's almost 2016 and I need to go into next year with a clearer and brighter view. I've been burning the candle at both ends for eight months and I'm wore out.

Yeah reminds me of when I was working 9-11:30 and 6-close, hence getting about 5-6 hours of sleep most nights for 8 months myself. I was still living in my own place so it was worth it.

Trying to get through my working day with a particularly nasty cold. Figured I'd be OK if I dosed up this morning (plus I can't really afford to take time off). I've been sick twice and feel like I've been run over by a bus. 2 hours left until quitting time, but it feels like eternity...

Thanks. I don't think I can take a full no-comp break given I make my living off computers, but I do need to step back from being on as much in my free time. It's got the best of me this year and I have come to find that some people I seem to encounter are awful underneath the thin veneer of personality they put up. I'm normally a good judge of character but I have failed work and friendship wise a lot lately. The internet, it's great when it's good...but when it's bad...oh boy.
