Just came back from voting in our Canadian Federal Election. Looking forward to election night coverage this evening, and hopefully a Blue Jays win as well!

Yeah that is quite some trip! I got 60 days in Ireland in '13 but that required a car accident to keep me there that long

You feel pretty safe traveling those countries? I don't want to just assume the worst but I would be a little hesitant about doing South America. Have you been to Argentina? I think Argentina has more mountains than I would have ever guessed. Is the rest of SA like that?

Just about to go to bed here. checked email and FB and time for a few hours sleep. Weather sucked here in Vienna today (rain) so hopefully it will be clear and sunny, or at least dry, tomorrow for one more day of sightseeing. Hoping to meet up with a very cute Turkish girl on Wednesday

My trip won't take me through Argentina...this time.

I haven't had any issues with Peru or Chile. As long as you stay in populated areas in the evening/night you'll be fine. Lima, Peru has over 10 million people living there! Diversity is the best word I can use to describe the topography of SA so far. The Andes mountains are a sight though, breathtaking actually. Good luck on you sightseeing trip & also on your Turkish girl.
