i'm @ a point where it would be dumb to quit this job.

i get paid enough where my wife was staying home 2/the kids and i was still able to cover all of our bills w/a little left over.

and the benefits....esp. the insurance is insanely cheap and covers quite a bit.

the job is to take care of my family....that's the most important thing and i'm not going to jepordize their well being for my own.

Well someone's mature...and a good father.

Have you tried looking for another job? Though...I think it'll be frustrating to have to figure out what you hate about another place.

Phone issue is fixed, so I'm back in the game beh beh!!!!

Googled instructions on how to get my verizon modem into bridge mode.

Now I just have to call Netgear customer support and have them set up my router.

i know it's probably not a lot compared to what others make...but i'm making $17/hour w/o a college education. and like i said, that's covering all of our bills.

i'd be hard pressed to find another job starting off that high.

and i just found another perk.

i work for an insurance company, our bank is offering mortgage refinancing for employees.

i can refinance our original loan down to 15 years, get a 3.75% rate, and it would take our payments from $785/month to $760/month!!!

Wow, you are in a great position right now. I'd wish I could make at least $10 (prefferably $14). Heck, there are people with degrees making less than that.

Yeah that's pretty good for no college. I also don't care for my job but I'm at $15 without college myself and it pays a big chunk of our bills. We get by ok right now but when my fiancee becomes a nurse and brings in considerably more then me maybe I could think of getting a new job.

ARE YOU KIDDING?! i make $18 an hour (same as you, no college) - not married, no kids, no mortgage, no car payments and i still somehow have like, no money left after each check think that's a sign i spend too much on useless crap and blus?

and rent and all bills comes to about $650 all together per month.
