probably about to go to bed. yes, very exciting Friday night

tomorrow night though i'm going out and about with a buddy who works for a newspaper a few cities over. they gave him the whole travel / tourist section and want him to start in his city (my city, which is the city both of us grew up in) by reviewing bars and clubs.

so of course when he asked me if i wanted to join i said yes

then i learned that his work (the paper) is PAYING for the "journey" through our city!

that's right, THEY'RE paying for drinks and for the cab to drive us from place to place. soooo awesome. very exciting

we're starting at 9 and there are about 75 bars in our city (a city of 65,000) and we're gonna try and hit at least 40 before bar close (2-2:30) should make for a glorious night tomorrow

got the camera and voice recorder all prepped and ready to go!

Just came home from a very, very long hike. Google cape to cape, I did half that

blistered like hell (flat feet) and so happy to rest in bed after sleeping in the coldest, wettest weather on the ground in a tent not fit for a man.

Sold some of my stocks a few days ago and went into cash before the big drop. With the credit rating now at AA+, I might stay in cash for a while.
