What the hell are you talking about? The dog movie is not mean spirited. You are starting to get really weird.

Too many good posts to quote.

I'm just a curious guy and I hope I'm not prying Omega but I am curious as to why you're family is living in Texas. Again, I'm sorry if I'm being nosy

lol at the idea of Batman building muscle

And JLF, did you go to the bathroom yet? Remember to flush first if you go more than normal. I mean flush before you start adding the TP. You do use TP right? I know Bangor is kind of redneckish

A dog coming back as another dog? Like the Chris Rock movie? lol

I was wondering about that and was going to mention it in my last post but I decided to shut up The movie doesn't have people being mean to dogs does it? I guess it doesn't based on your reply.

I'm still a wuss but I was a bigger wuss before. When I started on June 13th, I couldn't even bench the bar. Got it up to 60 lbs + the bar at 9 reps on Monday so it's getting better. The running thing is definitely a surprise. Will look into the cost of the ultra marathon that's in my town, even though it's only like 3 weeks after the first marathon I'm running next month.

Dude you couldn't even bench the bar? The 45 pound bar? lol Why am I even asking you that when it's possible I may sound like I'm putting you down? I'm just surprised. Maybe you were joking though. I was never good at bench pressing. It might be because of weak shoulders. As I said my dad did amateur BB'ing and he said he happened to be able to bench a lot because of strong shoulders. How far is the ultra marathon?

Daughter attends Texas Tech & my Wife is one the nursing director for the local heart hospital there. I'm still active duty military & have to stay in San Diego. Sacrifice had to be made in order for our daughter to have opportunity for education & I drew the short straw.

Ultra marathons are 50ks, 31.2 miles. I wasn't joking, I was a complete pansy before I started going to the gym, you'd think that alone would've made me go sooner. My shoulders and chest are getting stronger though, at least that's something. Didn't do core in the beginning but then I heard it's essential to build up the core if you're going to lift so I added it in.

lol yes I know you're active duty Yes just one of the many sacrifices you guys make. You're Navy right? Got any SEAL stories? I was never around grunts in the Marine Corp. And you might know but do you think Jesse Ventura really made that comment about having to lose a few every now and then? I haven't read Chris Kyle's book but I know that was mentioned in it. And asking you about SEAL stories makes me sound like Nick Frost's character in Hot Fuzz

I was thinking they might be the 50k's you have mentioned. Are you keeping a journal of your progress? I said it before but, while I don't get the running being fun thing, I loved working out. I remember creatine used to be real popular. I suppose you don't take that either?

Adding some DVDs to my collection. There are some exclusives that aren't in the DB and I'd like to add them, but I'll probably just muck it up

Not sure what creatine is for but maybe I should look into it. No journals yet, I may start doing it but so far I've been able to run and lift without using one.

First day back to work after being on vacation for the last 14 days. However, as of today I officially have 364 days left until retirement.
