I always focus my lifting sessions, music for those and tablet movies for running. Speaking of for some reason my silly phone is forgetting music again, going to have to mess with the playlist again before work tomorrow. Really hope it doesn't act up during my 26 mile run in 3 weeks or I may just lose it.

I did the La Jolla 1/2 marathon last April with no music & I have ran in the past with no music either. Sometimes it is good just to be you in your head while running.

Yeah I stopped 3 times today while I was running to force Google play to skip a missing song but after that I just gave up and kept running. I did run my last 10k with no music because we were running near traffic. I may run without music in El Paso we'll see but 3ish hours is a long time of just the road and bouncing/yelling people.

I remember my first marathon, I had music but stopped listening to it after the first 10K. Glad I did because it allowed me to enjoy that experience even more especially the last 1/4 mile.

I'm probably switching internet. We have fiber optic available and it's the same price as what I am paying for cable, but 600 mbps vs 60.

I think Time Warner took about a week here too, and they still didn't come out when they said they would 600 mbps internet? That's awesome! I wish I had that speed.

Heh I may sign up for another 10K after this we'll see. Could be good for nostalgia, although I think at this point it's kinda unfair for long distance runners like us to do such short runs. A Boston Marathon runner like yourself won the Turkey Trot 10K I did in November, oddly only by about a minute, a soldier was right on his heels when he crossed the finish line apparently.

After I ran my first & last Ultrathon 10 years ago, I told myself that I would stick to 1/2 marathons & below. I had accomplished what I set out to do in my 20s. Now I'm aboot enjoying myself & just living. This April will mark my 15th 1/2 marathon.

I just started running though, which is why I want to stick to marathons at least for now. Still looking into that local 50K, not sure I could actually do it, a lot of what gets me through the longer training runs so far is adrenaline. Not sure it'd be enough for over 30 miles. 100ks and beyond just make my jaw drop to the floor.

They are still here getting the cable hooked up. They are about done, just getting the boxes on all my TVs and getting them updated with my cable package.

Comcast is actually my favourite, no dish to go out in bad weather but I know it's not possible for everyone. Still need to look into an ISP/cellphone/TV package at some point, that's what my kid brother has.

We don't have Comcast here and given they are voted the worst company almost every year by Consumerist...no thanks if they were local.

From what I've heard Time Warner is the worst, behind Dish, DirecTV and Comcast. Probably why they're not as popular as the other 3.

Nope, Comcast has won the title 6 or 7 times "EA" was the actual worst company last year, but for TV providers Comcast has held it since 2010.

I actually love Comcast and haven't had any issues. The only thing I dislike is the DVR cloud system. It stores all the shows on the DVR but only a certain number in the cloud for phone and computer watching.
