haha well I like to keep my special stuff sealed. I've opened Steelbooks before but sometimes I like to find the normal set for cheap and double dip. I did that with Lone Survivor. A lot of times, if I watch the film in the theater, I'm good for a few years lol

I totally saw B v S 20 times in theatres but I've only seen it twice since. Watching more P & R, about to brush my teeth before I jump in the shower.

Supposedly some nut saw one of the SW films 80-100 times in theatres, nobody believes him of course. Done brushing the teeth, procrastinating on starting the shower.

Yeah I saw where he said that. I dunno on that one. That's really hard to imagine.

Reading about Georg Elser on his wiki page. He was imprisoned and executed for attempting to assassinate Hitler with the use of a bomb. I saw a memorial to him when I was in Berlin. I wish I had taken a picture of it.

I get that. I have several steel books still sealed in my collection as well. I'm even that way with my collectibles. My fiancé is the same as well. At this point most of our Funko's are still in box, and the ones that aren't we have duplicates of.

As far as not needing to watch the films over and over again, I'm kind of that way too. It just depends on the movie. I used to buy every movie I marginally liked, but now I have to actually love and want to watch the movie again for me to buy it.

I probably started out that way but then I really got into collecting so I bought a lot of titles I didn't really need. Part of the justification was that sometimes they were older films (old enough that you won't find them in Redbox) and since I don't stream or anything like that, I had to buy them if I wanted to see them.

I have a couple Sideshow statues that I never even opened. They're still sitting in their shipping boxes. And we're talking about $300+ statues that I've never even seen except for pictures on the internet.
